I would like to thank Flogging Molly for the unbelievable concert experience! We surprised my 12 year old son with tickets to the show on his birthday. There are so many great things about this experience. The House of Blues was great at accommodating our family, letting us know where the best place to sit for someone under 18. I felt like they gave us the inside scoop. The boys got to sit front and center on the balcony, a prefect spot for watching the crowds below and being able to experience the band. Flogging Molly was awesome!!! They continued to tell the audience how much they loved San Diego and their set was full of so much energy. The best part of the evening was when Dave pointed out my son and his friend on the balcony saying "there are two boys up there who can't be much older than 15, this one is for you." The boys went wild! To top off the night my daughter some how got the band's attention letting them know it was my son's birthday and bringing the whole House of Blues together to wish him a happy birthday. What an awesome thing to happen to a 12 year old. Needless to say Flogging Molly is now his absolute favorite band. They provided us all with a night to remember. Thank you so much!!!

The pool venue at The Cosmopolitan is incredibly beautiful! Opening act, Mariachi el Bronx, started the night off with an amazing set. They are extremely talented - their music is unique and exciting! Flogging Molly engaged the crowd right from the start. They played a nice combination of new songs and old favorites. What a surprise to have a member of Mariachi el Bronx join them on banjo for two songs, as their banjo/mandolin player was home, welcoming his newborn child into this world. Flogging Molly put on a great show - they were tight, energetic, FUN and the perfect band to kick-off St. Patrick's Day in Las Vegas! If you have the opportunity to catch either of these bands in concert, GO!!

To start, the venue was terrible. Trying to get to the disabled seating section was difficult and once there, no seating. After talking to seven people over 35 minutes, we finally got a seat for the disabled member of our party, but we weren't allowed to stand in the section with her. After posting a negative comment on their Facebook page while at the show, customer service at Cosmopolitan asked us to email them so they could deal with the situation. An email was sent the next day, 3/17/13, but still no response. Never going back.

Now to the show... Flogging Molly gave an energetic performance as always. Unfortunately, Bob (banjo/mandolin), was not at the show so the set list was changed up somewhat. The fiddle player from the opening band did join on banjo for a few songs and did a great job. (Bob was at home with his very pregnant wife waiting for their second child to be born. Totally cool of him.) Bridget, fiddle/penny whistle/vocals, has really developed as a vocalist and I would say her best performance in the 14 FM shows I've been to.

Flogging Molly is awesome live and should not be missed if you enjoy any of the following genres: Celtic, Rock, Punk, Singer/Songwriter
All members of the band are very cool people, authentic and genuine in their desire to give a great show. They are appreciative of all their fans and thank them every time for coming out to their shows.

Loved seeing Flogging Molly again. Was not a fan of the venue though. Place was overly crowded and getting drinks was difficult. Opening act Mariachi El Bronx was good.

The opening act Mariachi el Bronx was the class of the show. Their music was wide and deep and complex and meaningful. The musicians were excellent, even their violinist was a former principal violinist in a major California orchestra. Flogging Molly, while loved by many, I found to be loud and hard to understand and showed a lack of musical dynamics. All one volume and tempo. Not nearly as moving.

The venue was great, the band was awesome, and the energy was unbelievable. The only thing that could have made the concert better was if they had balanced the bass just a little bit better

I think some in the crowd might have been a bit judgmental against Mexican music/people. Too bad their closed minds didn't allow them to enjoy a very talented band. @

The show was great, the band played a very long set that didn't slow them down. I only wish the venue was a little more crowd friendly. Perhaps if they had emptied the second pool as well as the first, there might have been enough room for everyone. As it was, it was difficult to find a place where my 13 year old could see well enough. If you're going to have an all-ages show, at least have enough options for viewing. Other than that (which was slightly distracting trying to see around a fake palm tree), the show was really great. Flogging Molly will be a band I will see again if I get the chance!

Flogging Molly is remarkably high energy and a lot of fun to see live. The venue itself is a bit difficult to navigate, and the drink prices are typically expensive. More stanchions and other guiding items would help to get people to the stage area effectively. Still a great venue, however.

My first expirence ever with The Flogging Molly? Wanted to leave when I heard the opening act, They were Horrible, But I'm glad I stayed, Flogging Molly was GREAT and I will go back despite the disappointment before them, I sure hope they find someone better before they return to stage.

Flogging Molly was awesome and the Fox Theater is a great venue. My only complaint is the audio back by the bars was not great. The singers were barely understandable. This was the same during Mariachi El Bronx (they rocked too).

Absolute blast! It was my first Flogging Molly show and I absolutely loved it. Super energy-filled...my friends and I were in the far back and we still felt included and part of the experience.

Second time seeing Flogging Molly and they certainly do not disappoint. High energy, great sound and just plain fun to watch. The whole place was dancing and singing along while they played a great set af songs from old to new. Hard to pick a favorite they played so many, but Rebel of the Sacred Heart and Seven Deadly Sins stand out as Show stoppers. An awesome acoustic set gave everyone a chance to catch their breath before they turned it back up and rocked us all well past 11. Mariachi El Bronx were awesome as well. Have heard their music before but they are way better live then on their records. Missed the Donuts since our dinner was delayed and we got to the Fox late.
