the show was outstanding. Aaron was personable and worked well with the fans. His band totally rocked and we enjoyed the solos. The opening act was poor. After waiting out in the lobby for an hour (due to sound issues) we were ready for some great jazz and she did not serve that purpose. It seemed like a total mismatch to have her open--nothing against her; she was an ok singer. Then we waited another 25 min. for Aaron to come on. There was no apology for the wait; it was never mentioned. That seemed very unprofessional and is really my only criticism. Otherwise, Aaron is an excellent performer and the crowd loved him.

First of all, this band started almost an hour late and had a female singer come out to perform three songs; then they started. We are jazz purists and this group is more of a rock/jazz fusion band. The drums and guitars were extremely loud and they had a smoke machine; I coughed all day Sunday from breathing the stuff in. We had another engagement that night and because they started so late, we had to leave before the concert was over. We probably would have left anyway as my ears were hurting from the decibel level and as I mentioned before, the smoke machine was making me sick.

Aaron Bing's concert was fantastic. He interacts with the crowd well and his talents burst off the stage. His band was comprised of very talented musicians and the sound was great. Perhaps the biggest issue was that they overpowered Aaron at times.

Nonetheless, it was a great concert. I drove three hours to attend and while I got back home at 2:30am, it was worth it!!

A different style than his JIA performances, Aaron proved to be as versatile as he is a superb musician and performer. The accompanying musicians all deserve a well done. The 'circular breathing guitarist' was especially outstanding. The 'jam session' that closed out the concert was one of the best I have seen in over fifty years.

The Florida Times Union did the community a disservice by not publicizing and reviewing this event.

I attended this event and thought it was an excellent performance. Lack of a large crowd had to be disappointing to the younger smooth jazz saxophonist. Even that didn't take away from his performance. I love it from the start to the very end. The band playing behind him was also fabulous.

Enoyed the performance and believe that Aaron Bing is an excellent musician. He is personable and relates well to his audience. It was great to have him come down into the crowd and play, shake hands and have pictures taken. He puts a lot of energy into his performance and seems to very much enjoy his "work".

Aaron played with a six piece band at this performance. They were accomplished musicians also, but maybe were a little "too much" and at times took the focus away from his performance. We have heard Aaron play with just a piano and thought that was a better way to enjoy his music.

It is unfortunate that the event did not receive more publicity so more people could enjoy Aaron's music.

I saw Aaron play at a jazz club in Miami. This cat plays the sax like nobody I have ever heard. Seen Kenny G and he has nothing on Aaron. If you want top shelf smooth jazz and R&B the check this guy out. I don't think he is nationally known yet, but I think he will be soon.
