I gave this event five stars, because Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine had nothing to do with the crappy, plastic folding chairs that Center Stage used for our seats. The entertainment was great, as expected; we have seen them twice and this show met our expectations. But, my fiance and I were squashed into a tiny row of folding chairs (set in what I guess was a dance floor or orchestra pit). That fact made it hard to fully enjoy the show . . . oh and the drunk/high guy behind us, but . . . well . . . that's to be expected.

What a great show. Richard Cheese was hilarious and I got to hear all my favorites. My brother got to carry Richard Cheese across the stage and we saw some crazy drunk bitch get thrown out of the show, but not before revealing herself to everyone.

I could not believe how many songs he was able to perform. Also, I was amazed at how witty he is and how interactive the show is. Lounge Against the Machine was actually reading music! I haven't seen that since I was in band in junior high.

Great show! I can't wait for him to come back to the A.

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect but Richard was very amusing. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the lack of seating for general admission ticket holders. The only people who got seats were people who bought better tickets (which I didn't know existed) and the ones who got in first and could nab some free seating. Generally, I don't mind but it was a lounge style concert which to me translates into lounging while sipping on a cocktail.

few moments:

1) the website and emails said that doors will open at 7.00pm - they open around or even after 7.30pm
2) Richard Cheese's started the show at 8.30pm (so we were waiting 1.50 hour)
3) We were expecting to hear good vocal, not only "hot" jokes - but It did't happen.

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine are terrific. Entertaining, funny, amazing. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard or had a smile on my face for so long. A really enjoyable show and I will definitely see them again when they come back to Portland.

Richard Cheese is a wonderful artist and performer. The way his show flows is seemless. A lot of it is off the cuff as he interacts with the crowd. Example: Richard took a drink from an audience member and asked what was in it. He was told the various alcohols and then a different person at the table said "and straws". This became a call back bit throughout the show.
The songs they play are all of their "hits", and the whole Lounge Against the Machine Band follows his lead. The show is hilarious, entertaining, and I need to see them again. This is the second time I've seen the band, and each show has been different because of what Richard feels from his audience. He also added for this show The Babes in Boinkland Burlesque Dancers. Worth the ticket price easily. After the show Richard signed autographs and took photos with fans. It was great.
