The show began with a band called Zammuto. More or less an unheard of band, the crowd was pretty thin to begin with. We got food and drinks while they played, not much interest on our part to hear them. Next was Chairlift, who I had listened to on Spotify and was excited to see. Their lead singer has an incredible voice and I really enjoyed their performance, but it was clear the audience was there for Gotye. They came out with a bevy of different instruments on stage and Wally (Gotye) really rocked on the drums. They showed these strange, psychedelic videos on the stage background that I thought were cool; it felt trippy. They played basically their entire Making Mirrors album and one or two other songs. Crowd cheered enough they came back for an encore which was a great way to end it.

Loved the band it was awesome. Couldn't believe how great the band sounded and the sound system was terrific. I would go back to this venue. Just take a jacket next time.

This is the best show I've seen in a long time. Even though I was unfamiliar with all of the songs, I enjoyed and danced along to them all. The combination of animation and music with the energy from the crowd was awesome! I could even hear my friend speaking at a normal level when the whole thing was over. My new favorite artist!

I was impressed at how talented Gotye was. He sounds as excellent in person as he does on his recordings. And, he's a very talented percussionist. Wonderful surprise!

I was actually excited that the event was moved to the crossroads. I was dragged to the concert by my girlfriend and was dreading the whole somebody I use to know thing as I'm sick of the song. I didn't care for the first opening band Zammuto, their music was good but the singer used too much auto tune and that killed it for me. The second opening act was chairlift and I enjoyed them a bunch with their girl singer and 1980s vibe. Gotye was amazing he was enthusiastic, and got the crowd involved. He ran around and played multiple instruments showcasing his talent. I would see him again, I was very shocked and pleasantly surprised.

The venue and the bands were incredible, especially GOTYE! My only complaint that was I was totally bored between sets because they took so long and the music played over the speakers was too quiet to be entertaining.

The concert was good. It would have been great if the time between sets was much shorter. I have never been to a concert where it took 30-45 minutes to set-up between each band.

I didn't want to see the first two acts, but showed up to see Garbage and the Silversun Pickups. Since it was an outdoor concert the weather turned bad and they pushed it back for a couple hours until I had to leave. I wish there was a way to get a refund for the tickets and parking since I was only there for five minutes and didn't hear a single song. I wish they'd just reschedule rather than making everyone wait in the rain.

Basically, the music was awesome, the venue was perfect and the people were great. Weather did become an issue, but that was expected. The true downfall was the ATM situation. 2 of 3 broke nearest my groups spot and the lines were hellish. Would also have been nice to know the beer tents were all cash only before hand. Overall, a great night.

Loved all the bands & enjoyed myself throughly despite the weather. Ample amt of bathrooms were made available along with beer tents. Beer prices were reasonable. Great job 96.5 the buzz!!

Thanks for a very organized show. The bands went on seemingly without a hitch even with the storm -- thanks for also handling that so well! Every group performed excellently. I enjoyed Alabama Shakes so much that I would just love to sit and listen to Brittany Howard's voice for hours. Fun had intense energy as always. Electric Guest has a unique and exciting sound. Garbage was genuine and caring about us the audience, and their sound is very distinctive -- I would like to hear more of them, too. I had heard Silversun Pickups before and will always enjoy hearing their songs. I feel their sound system was a little muddy and difficult to hear the individual tracks, especially the vocalist. Not sure if that had to do with the rush to get setup from the rain delay or what.
I will definitely attend another concert at Riverfront. Parking was fairly carefree (and worth the $10 when we suddenly had to run to our cars!) Beer pricing was VERY reasonable considering most venues. I didn't partake of food, but it looked pretty good. Bathroom accommodations were just fine (could use a few more OUTSIDE the venue for tailgaters). The ATM line was too long (only one machine was working at a time).
Lastly, I don't think this is at all possible, but it would be easier to watch the show if the stage were facing up the hill and positioned on the river side of the field. It was a little difficult to stand with our feet bent upwards, and it would be easier for everyone to see.

I didn't expect all the bands to put on such a great show! The lead singer of Electric Guest can dance and he wasn't afraid to show it! I watched Alabama Shakes' music videos and they don't even give a hint of how great they are live. Brittany has got soul and I love her style. Fun. was the original reason I went and they were better than I imagined! Garbage and Silversun Pickups were also great in person. I couldn't have asked for a better show!
