Ellie was amazing. Great on stage, talked to the audience a lot. Apparently she was unwell but you would never have known. Apart from annoying super loud man sat behind me who talked the entire way through, it was perfect. He should have stayed home and talked to himself cos he sure was VERY boring. Everyone went crazy when she sang Anything Can Happen. Proud to be an Ellie fan. I hope she tours here again.

I've been to other concerts at the Fox Theater, but the vocal sounds of Ellie Goulding were drowned out by her band. I couldn't really appreciate it as much as I hoped.

The acoustics in the Fox Theater were terrible and combined with Ellie Goulding's unique voice, you could barely hear anything she was saying or singing as close up as you were. I was disappointed and wouldn't come to the show again. However, I'd be interested to hear her in a stage where you could actually hear her.

They should have sound checked better.

Ellie sounded absolutely amazing live. It was pretty much like listening to her studio recordings. She's a very talented singer, and I also liked that she played acoustic guitar on a few of her ballads. After this concert, I have a lot of respect for her as a performer. The Fox Theater was a great venue, too.

My only complaint is that it somehow never crossed my mind that many of her fans are teenagers and pre-teens, many of whom couldn't stop talking or taking pictures of themselves during the concert.

Any venue would be amazing when Ellie Goulding performs. I hope for more performances in the future of Ellie. Second time here and enjoyed both times.

ELLIE WAS GREAT, and St.Lucia was better than expected.
But the VOLUME WAS UNNECESSARILY LOUD - totally unnecessary.
And the SOUND SYSTEM SUCKED at those volumes.

The whole POINT of a nice small venue like Fox is intimacy... that the volume DOESN'T need to be so high, and you SHOULD be able to actually hear Ellie's comments between songs. If I hadn't known her songs before the concert, I would not have been able to understand a single lyric. If they had just chopped the instrument volume by about 2x and saved our ears, and let her voice through, I WOULD HAVE LOVED IT.

Ellie rocked the Fox theater in Oakland from the very first the note she sang. She even did an acoustic version of a song and her cover of Elton Johns 'Your Song' accompanied only by piano. It was SO worth 10 hrs of driving to go see her, yes, she was that amazing!! Fox theatre is a small venue with great views and sound from just about any seat (and probably even the lobby!) There was plenty of friendly helpful staff inside and out. Bars and bathrooms everywhere, our seats were very comfortable, and even had cupholders. Im definitely recommending both Ellie Goulding and The Fox Theatre.

When I looked at the date to see that you played in Oakland on Fri I was broken hearted. My, ... let's say Boyfriend, partner, had tickets for us.... WE had a disagreement which lead to my missing you live. I think you're a seriously fab artist. And I'm 52. But have deejayed in club for many years, and now have a radio station called the BuzzSf which I built from scratch. and play you often.

I'm sorry I missed you. I am Fan, and love you. Maybe sometime in the future.

Ellie has always been one of my favorite singers. I worried about her stage presence since i've seen a few videos of her live on the web. Unfortunately, she didn't seem like she wanted to be there as much as we did which was a shame. Although, I can't completely blame her...the Vancouver audience was terrible. Everyone was talking over her--at the worst part too (when she sang the emotional song I Know You Care). I suppose the crowd ruined it a little, but overall, her voice was amazing and for the most part she was enjoyable to watch. She will remain to be one of my favorite singers, I just wish she would smile more and appreciate her fans more. (Also, St. Lucia didn't start til an hour and a half after the official starting time--unimpressed with that).

Overall the concert was excellent and I had a great time! The sound was a little off in the pageant and I think the band was too loud and Ellie's mic was very quiet. I sat on the upper balcony and it was VERY noisy, there were a lot of other conversations going on. I loved "Anything Can Happen" and there were a lot of other songs I had not heard from her but really loved. I would love to see her again.

Ellie Goulding was phenomenal! There are no words to describe how incredible this concert was. She is so amazing live. And this concert venue was perfect! I would definitely see a concert at the Fillmore again. I cannot stop thinking about how wonderful this concert was. Ahh! I want to see her in concert again! This was so great!

Ellie Goulding was awesome! Her and her band put on a fab show and her voice is amazing! The opening band St. Lucia was also amazing! We had great seats and all the people working the venue were super cool! The Pageant is definently my fave music venue hands down! I always stay at the Moonrise hotel when we go there also and I just love staying there! All the staff there were also great and we love hanging in the Eclipse bar too! Thanks!

I think anyone in the audience would agree that Ellie is an absolute goddess and blew everyone's expectations out of the water. The lighting, the atmosphere, her voice all added to a show where everyone felt that she was singing to just them. Her dancing was spell-binding and her voice carried through the entire place and struck everyone's ears and hearts in a way they won't soon forget. The only low point of the show was how inconsiderate a lot of audience members were during her rendition of "I Know You Care" and "Your Song". Both are very touching songs that are meant to be listened to with an attentive ear and by a quiet audience; clearly, however, many audience members felt their voices were more important even after Ellie asked for absolute silence. It was really very frustrating for those who were there to enjoy the show and Ellie was visibly frustrated that people were talking. Other than that, however, it was an incredible show.
