While there were aspects of the viewing party that were nice, overall we were very disappointed with how it was handled. Trey Morgan said in the beginning of the event that nearly every artist playing at the Jingle Ball texted him and asked if they could come down and say hi to the fans, which got my kids very excited! Here they were thinking maybe One Direction or Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift would come down to say hi and they were jumping out of their seats at the thought! Well, not only did no one except the band fun. (Who we love by the way, and good for them for stopping by!!) and Hot Chelle Rae stop by (of course, Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz played which was stellar!), but the video went our during my kids' favorite band, One Direction, and in an event as big as this, honestly that should not have happened! And really, how difficult would it have been for a few of the artists to make their way downstairs and say hi to their fans, fans who paid $65 for a ticket?! I really felt what Trey Morgan said was very misleading and left a bad taste in many people's mouth. Having said that, overall it was a good time and the visual and audio system was awesome. And Bridgette Mendler was really sweet and my kids loved seeing her. how much do we love Nate Ruess?! Just wish there weren't false promises involved.

To see the Jingle Ball show Live in the smaller MSG theater below The Garden was a great idea. Started off great - but a glitz in the VIDEO Feed when first opening ONE DIRECTION (the main
reason for going to the show and paying $50 a ticket) was playing so we missed them singing "Little Things." Everyone was BOOING. But they got it working again after about 5mins. or so. Too bad, but these things happen.
SEATS should have been much CHEAPER. The one MAIN person they listed as live for us to see was Ed Sheeran. He only played one song and it was not even his song....Sheeran should have played one more song - seems like he ran down played one song w/Jason Mraz and then ran back upstairs.
They did give out a few tickets for upgrades to the MSG that was fun for those winners.
Next time maybe a few more GIVEAWAYS or one more BIG NAME to play - or reduce the cost of the tickets. Maybe raffle off an autograph or two from the entertainers upstairs?

My daughter and her friend went to the Jingle Ball Viewing and she said it was like watching it at home on your TV! Never again! Actually it would have been better watching it at home! The 2 people who were there didn't even sing one of their own songs. You would have thought that since it was in the same place as Jingle Ball that other artists might have at least stopped by to at least say hello....

I was disappointed that Ed Sheeran only played 1 song that really wasn't his own. The advertisement made it sound that he would be appearing and playing more than one song. Also, the screen blacked out for about 2 songs while One Direction was on. Ed Sheeran and 1 D were the reasons I came. If I had known that Ed Sheeran was only playing one song, I probably wouldn't have bought tickets. It was nice that some bands came down to say hello.

It was wonderful being part of the first ever viewing party with my 11 year old daughter. Music was wonderful, hosts were great and private performances were amazing! My daughter would have loved if 1D came out but we did not expect them to anyway. One hiccup wuth the video feed got some boos from the crown but I think the hosts handled it like such professionals! Would definitely skip the actual show for the viewing party again next year!!!

For starters, I am a huge One Direction fan and the video feed went out for half of their performance. This was a pretty bad way to start the night and I was really upset when i found out that I missed one of my favorite songs. The feed was out for all of Little Things and most of One Thing, so that was pretty upsetting. The Ed Sheeran/Jason Mraz duet was amazing but it should have been but somewhere that it didn't have to cut into the actual show. Same with Bridget Mendlers performance, we missed most of B.o.B singing Magic :( I would tell people to probably go to the real show because I dont think that the viewing party was worth 60 dollars when you could be in the actual venue for 50

Pretty good show. Didn't like that during 1D the video feed messed up & never got to see what went on then, but I guess that's what happens when it's live.

Was totally disappointed. The screen broke down for 10 minutes and missed part of the show. The interviews with the performers took away from the concert. We were told Justin Beiber and Jason Mraz were going to come up and perform for us and never showed up.

To be honest, I got a little disappointed with the concert. Not that it wasn't good, but I had no idea that I was going to watch a screen instead of the real concert. There was no clear description explaining that when I bought the tickets. So, I got pretty upset about this when I got there.

The concert, overall, was very nice though. I absolutely loved the idea of getting many pop singers/bands to sing in one concert. And I got really excited when Bridgit Mendler, Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz singed live for us. I just wished I could have watcged all of the performances that way.

The main reason we went to the Jingle Ball was to see One Direction. The TV broke during the part of the concert when One Direction was preforming. If they said One Direction was not a part of the concert we would not have bought the tickets.

Overall it was a great show. Really enjoyed the mixed line up. Very disappointed about the mess up with the video feed during One Direction. I was there with my 10 year daughter and her best friend. One Direction is the main reason we went. Had to promise my daughter that no matter how much it cost ( not cheap) I will do what ever I can to take her to see them for real. She was perfectly content with the viewing party and so was I for the price. Now...???

This was the first time a viewing party was held so there were some technical problems at the beginning which was upsetting. Once the problem was fixed the event was fun. Although it may not be the actual concert it was still really fun.

I couldn't have asked for a better (early) Christmas present than this. Not only was the lineup incredible, the crowd atmosphere added just as much energy. I have been wanting to go to this concert for 15 years, year after year not getting tickets. Thank god they added the Viewing Party (for those of us not so lucking on winning radio contests.) Best night of 2012!

We were promised upgrades all night, prizes, and artists singing. We did have Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz, but it would have been nice if there had been another singer as a surprise ONE DIRECTION, for instance) since their performance was interrupted because of technical difficulty. There were only about 4 upgrades in 4 hours! that was pretty lame. Still waiting for the prizes... and what happened to Bridgit Mendler? She bailed on us as our host after she sang...guess it was more exciting in MSG. Some of the artists sang way too many songs, others only one! Overall we had a good time, probably wouldn't go next year unless we could get into the live show.

The JIngle Ball viewing party was amazing. We felt like we were in MSG for the concert. I would highly recommend this event to all my friends and plan on going again next year as long as you are having the viewing party. The energy in the room was insane, and everyone was singing and dancing. Was an amazing night.

I attended the viewing party with my three children. We had such a great time. For me the price was one that I could afford for four tickets. A little tech. Issues cleared up fast and was great time for all. Hope to go next year....
