This was an amazing show the performance was beyond what i was exepting....WOW very powerful. Everyone ROCKED great acting wonderful true story line as I have lived with a special child myself. I couldn't stop crying it touched my heart words are hard to get since this gets what I live. Thank you for letting the rest of the world see what family's deal with on a day to day events....I lived every moment of that performance in my seat. WOW!!!!

It is such a shame that the day we went to go see the play was the day it was going dark because it was just SO GOOD. The play encapsulated what it means from so many different point of views to experience autism. It tugs at one's heart strings and forever will leave a mark as something so profound as autism is becoming such a commonality. A must go see when it returns.

Outstanding little play with superb performances on a timely topic of great importance. FALLING brought me to tears and revealed life behind closed doors with a family living with severe disability. I wish I saw it sooner so that my teaching colleagues and friends could have seen it. I hope the writer writes again.

The performance is a great insight into the life of families impacted by the reality of autism. It should be a must see for whoever works with the autistic population and for family members who still have difficulty in understanding this reality.

This play about autism is both powerful and moving. It doesn't present us with the standard Hollywood view of autism--cute little kid trapped in a silent world. Instead we have an unattractive, hulking 18 year old man with violent tendencies. We tend to forget that people with disabilities do not remain the sweet children we see on telethons. As they grow, their needs and those of their families change. A small child, who can successfully live at home with support services, often becomes an adult for whom a new home must be found. Even if the physical or mental needs of the child don't require alternative care, aging parents must make other provisions in the likely event that the child outlives the parent.

This play, with a terrific, realistic set, explores all of these issues and many more. The acting is uniformly excellent, and frequently brilliant. Well written, with high production values and terrific acting, Falling is a gem of a play.

As the step parent of an adult with Autism and her adult sister, the play pushed many personal buttons. The experience of seeing a largely compliant youngster grow into a sometimes violent 20-something who doesn't really want to hurt anyone but experiences overwhelming frustration is heartbreaking. While our experience has not been the same as with the family in Falling (we were fortunate to have more resources available), the roles played by each of the family members touched on much of what we've either experienced ourselves or know of friends experiencing. The acting was superb, we believed each cast member was actually experiencing every emotion they so accurately portrayed.

This is a raw in your face play about an autistic adult boy and his impact on his family. There isn't a mother out there who won't relate to some particular aspect of this mother's attempt to keep her son from falling apart, though not on such an extreme level one would hope -- for everyone's sake. It was well done, but my feelings about this play mellowed over time. While there, I sometimes didn't want to be there ... not because I wasn't enjoying the play, but because it was just so hard to watch. As all of us who went to it said afterwards, it sure didn't feel like 90 minutes. And we all talked about it extensively after the show, and even days after. It is a play that stays with you. My recommendation would be to go see this play because of its important content, and then go to see a flashy broadway show afterwards to cheer yourself up!

I really enjoyed this production about a family trying to cope with a full grown child with autism. Even though the story was specifically about autism, the message about family life was universal as the parents struggled to develop strategies and coping methods for their child's idiosyncratic behavior. I do the same thing with my own children who just have their own unique personalities, so I could relate to this story line while at the same time appreciating the additional dimension that a child with an autism spectrum disorder brings to family life.

Wonderful cast, great story. it really made me think. I brought my 16 year old daughter to see it and she also loved it.

I saw this play last night - amazing! Daniel Everidge is masterful as Josh and portrays both the beauty and the tragedy of severe autism. The family, and particularly the mother are real and genuine in both their love and their anguish. Anyone whose life touches autism (and that's everyone) should see this play - not a light evening of entertainment, but a genuine engagement with the human spirit.

This is an autobiographical play about a family which includes an autistic young man. It is an amazing play that moved everyone in the theater. I can safely say this as there was a "talkback" after the performance. Everyone in the audience conveyed their emotions and voiced the importance of the subject. It should be seen by everyone in order to understand the dynamics of raising a child with needs.

This play was mesmerizing and completely accurate in its portrayal of life with an autistic young adult. Sensitive situations were handled with the perfect amount of empathy and raising questions as to choices. Each character interacted well with the others and provided a memorable experience. A must for anyone in the field. The talkback with the cast after was invaluable as well.
