The parental units enjoyed this event which brought them fond memories from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Each group performed very well and the Shirelles got the crowd participation which was very humorous and wonderful! There was a single intermission which was good enough.

Awesome groups of musicians. Very much enjoyed the oldies. Takes me back to a time when life was much more simple than today's hectic life.

Last time in the HIC was for the Beachboys in the late 70's. Couldn't believe how small the HIC looked after all these years. I compared attending this show to attending a live major league baseball game vs watching on tv. Day and night program (live/tv). The Shirelles brought back all the hidden memories of the 60's and the love it projected. Glad I was talked into going. Now, looking at what will come up next to attend. Thank you Uncle Tom Moffat.

As a whole i enjoyed the show, but my only disappointment was that the Shirelles did not sing more than 3 of their original hits from back in the 60's. Between the 3 of their own songs, they sang a medley of songs from the Four Tops . What for? I came to listen to their songs, and not songs from someone else. They had so many hit songs of their own, yet didn't sing them. Otherwise, i did enjoy the concert.

great show. the shirelles were great, the stylistics were the bomb! brought back a lot of memories from hanabata days from way back then. I'd go to another one when available. the crowd wasn't too big so there was a lot of good seats left. i was in the 5th row from the front & was able to see the performers up close. the original member of the shireles was priceless. worth the cost of the tickets alone.

sound system apparently set for way more people than attended. way loud for the venue and audience. more than half the time what the performers said couldn't be understood as performers were yelling and not talking normally into a loud system. really detracted fm the overall performance.

2nd time seeing Stylistics @ Blaisdell in the past 24 months. they are the top billing act - good job as always. Amazing how Eban Brown sounds very similar to the original lead singer back in the day. Did not sing all of their hit songs though (Missed one!)............ The crystals opened up the act. Hard to watch them sing...but, will admit that one of the newer members fo the group, the girls can sing (And needs to find membership in a newer genre music group - songs she is singing are too old standards for her to sing). Manhattans - kinda dissapointed - singing live versus studio recordings - not the same or close to being the same - not overwhelmingly excited by their performance - but good to see some of the original members of the band still moving and performing. Shirelles - good show here. I hope to be moving at least 1/2 as much as the original member remaining in the group when I am in my 70's.
