I saw Lewis Nash at the Columbus Southern Theater in February. When I heard he was coming back, I had to go. He's mesmerizing. The night was full of great jazz and I was glad to see McBride for the first time. I even appreciated how he handled some idiot in the front row who kept making loud comments. Very professional, but he got his point across. I also appreciated how McBride said that there was this notion you had to be still and quiet during a jazz concert. He disagreed with that. Those of us who need to feel the music appreciate that comment.
These are the most talented jazz musicians out there people . If you haven't see them, you haven't seen jazz.
