Absolutely incredible shows from slipknot and lamb of god. Atmosphere was great, pyrotechnics were awesome, museum was awesome, the people were awesome. You never saw such nice drunks. Go buy tickets for next year right now.

This was one great outdoor concert with two stages alternating acts. Although I really appreciated the buses to and from the Mid-America Center, the transport to and from the event was a major detractor because of how long it took to get to and from the event. I showed up an hour and a half before the event started and still got to the concert after the official start because I just missed getting on the first round of buses and as such missed Dirtfedd's set. Even though I'm admittedly not a fan of Deftones, each of the bands had there moments that got the crowd going. Machine Head, Lamb of God, and especially Slipknot were absolutely some of the best performances I have seen live (comparable to Ozzfest w/Sabbath, Pantera, etc.). The power to the second stage blew out during Machine Head's performance of Halo, which sucked, and this let to a roughly 30 minute delay of Lamb of God's set. It didn't matter though because they crushed when they hit the stage. Slipknot's performance was insane, not only in their stunning visual presentation, but in the caliber of musical execution. Overall, I would attend this event again and definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Slipknot et al.

Knotfest was absolutely amazing. First, ticket prices were great, and the venue, Somerset Ampitheatre was spectacular. The line-ups were great, and the additional things going on at the show on the grounds were a nice break from time to time. We traveled 600 miles one way for this show, and would do it again several times if it was like this one. Slipknot is a must see for any concert fan.

great lineup, something that hasn't been coming around for a while!! But I must say, if it weren't for Lamb of God on the list, I would have been underwhelmed with the overall experience.

There was so much more than the music to see and do. The Slipknot museum was cool, and you could even play some of the drums. There were also roving stiltwalking performers and carnival rides. A pyrotechnics area and stunt motorcycles. Plus two stages of bands! On top of all this, water and parking were FREE!!! Very cool!
One bad thing, the Deftones singer was obviously intoxicated, which is not so big a deal, but his performance definitely sucked because of it.

Everything about KNOTFEST was epic! I highly recommend it to any metal fan looking for a killer time. Plus the whole camping thing was pretty sweet too.

I don't know how to describe how amazing Knotfest was beyond it was the best experience of my life!! Even with the absence of Dethklok which I was looking forward too, the whole show blew my mind. I think that Randy Blythe coming out for a song at the end of Prong really threw the crowd a nice surprise and got us all fired up a little bit. I thought each band put on a great show, Machinehead started getting the crowd involved which then continued through the night. As far as amenities, I thought there really needed to be more, easier, and cheaper access to cold water at least, I understand that concessions need to make profit so they are spendy, but with the heat, and everyone working up a sweat and getting dust in their face and mouth, there really should have been more water for us beyond the water fountains. Slipknot and Lamb of God I believe put on the best shows and really brought it all home.

Slipknot & Lamb of God were amazing as always!! The weather was great as well...about 80 degrees. Lots of shade near the restrooms if u needed it.

The only thing I didn't like about Knotfest is the fact that we had to pay $20.00 to park the car. I dont remember having to do anything like that for the other concerts I have seen at Floatrite. However, that was many years ago. I do see that the money goes to the improvements they have made at Floatrite, like the bathrooms, paved area around the front of the stage, and a walkway. Totally amazing not having to use a biff!
I haven't seen Deftones in forever!! I was so glad to see that they remain Amazing. I love the new tunes and how they brought you back with some cult classics like "change in the house of flies."
First time seeing Lamb of God. HILARIOUS ROCKER!!!!! they got me more in the mood to see Slipknot! I was super excited to hear that they were going to be able to play after all the legal issues. Two shows that they were playing and I got to be part of one of them. HECK YES!!
SLIPKNOT... not going to lie, they were the biggest name that I was dying to see. I havent seen slipknot since they played what was known as ' the quest club.' I say Corey Taylor on his book tour. His voice is like caramel, flowing and sweet. Love how he can go from screaming to melodic and back again. LOVE SLIPKNOT!!! Cant wait for next year!!!

The concerts were amazing, the stages were set up well the sound was great the mosh pits were hardcore although everything there was way over priced. I showed up and parking was an extra $20. Every single t shirt was $30 even the small time bands. Food is always a rip off. $10 just to get tickets for the food. But the main reason to go was to see the bands. If you're planning on getting souvenirs bring like $200. Yeah, its that bad.

Completely AMAZING! Words can hardly describe it. The bands were amazing. There were free samples of Rockstar Energy Drinks were yummy! The stilt performers and other characters were freaky but pretty awesome. The drum circle was tons of fun! The museum was a great experience since Slipknot is my FAV band. The whole experience was great! I will definitely go back if they have it again.

the first annual Knotfest was definitely something worth attending! i am sooo glad i bought my tickets and made the 6 hour drive for the festival! totally worth it!

I loved knotfest. I thought the bands gave one hell of a show. I would like to see a 2 to 3 day music fest with a long list of bands. I am looking forward to next year.
