We just saw Annie at 2:00 on Saturday. It was very disappointing to find out that Annie and Ashley were both being played by their under study's. However, Jane Lynch's performance as Miss Hanagan more than made up for it. She was wonderful and my kids were thrilled. Get tickets before Jane leaves. Well worth the price!!!!

This production of Annie The Musical is top notch. Took our 7 year old son, this was his first Broadway show experience, and he was enraptured. The whole cast was amazing and the sets were impressive. How the sets changed from scene to scene so fluidly and seamlessly was a treat to see. My family had a wonderful time and we recommend this show for all families!

I took my daughter to see Annie for her 8th birthday. She had watched the
Movie a hundred times and despite my warning the the musical would be different from what he had expected, I think she (and I) were slightly disappointed by some of the changes. We missed some of the classic movie songs, particularly "lets go to the movies" and "dumb dog". We thought Jane Lynch made a great Hannigan., despite the fact that she was more a "rough around the edges" Hannigan and not the "boozy, floozy" character that Carol Burnett portrayed. Overall we had a great night. The theatre itself was great, big enough and yet maintained that very personal, up close feel. I would recommend this for any young theatre go-er, just be sure to warn them, this is NOT your movie "Annie"

Annie is light. It runs the gamut from glimpses of the Great Depression to homelessness of children. There is a theme in there for everyone. It was a shear delight for my 9 yr old granddaughter and more than entertaining for me and my wife now in our late fifties. A great diversion that I would enthusiastically recommend.

The Revival of Annie is wonderful! The sets and tap dancing were amazing and the young actors are incredible. Our group included grandmother, aunt, mom, and 14 year old and we ALL loved it! Seeing it IN New York this time was extra fun since you were there in the setting of the story. Everyone should see it....great feel good musical.

The first time I saw Annie years ago, it was amazing. This production overdid the "old time New York" accents which was really annoying. While obviously gifted, the young lady playing Annie really laid the accent on heavy - which was grating. And I love Jane Lynch, but the woman cannot sing. A disappointment.

What can you say about Annie? I cannot imagine anyone not loving this show. The music, the acting, the dog. It was better today than when I saw it 28 years ago!!!! So far one if the best broadway shoes I have ever seen. Great classic and sweet show. If you are concerned about your child being scared, it is not an issue.

We went with our 3 children on a Wednesday night - ages 5,7,9. They already knew all the songs from watching the movie. They thoroughly enjoyed the entire show....it got a tad long for them...but nothing a few snacks didn't solve. They were singing along as they left the theater and wanted to go back again the next day. There was a bit more language than I'd prefer for them to hear (d and h words)...but it was just like movie and nothing which phased them. I'd highly recommend it....
