Broadway-bound and VERY deserving, this musical turns out to have a heartwarming story aside from the great music, choreography, and COSTUMES! The two leads were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! You missed in in Chicago if you're just reading this now, but if you get the chance to see it on Broadway...SEE IT! I am so impressed with the music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper!! She could get nominated for a Tony!

The presentation was excellent. Strong acting and singing by those that had a meaningful part. The stage set worked impeccably. Story line exceptional. Would go to see it on Broadway. Glad I got the opportunity to enjoy it so close to home!

Great show! Two strong lead singers combined with a well thought story. Lessons on life provided and well directed dancing. Felt it was worth the price and will do well on Broadway.

This show was fun and spectacular!! I enjoyed it so much I would love to see it again. The story and the characters were great. I also loved all the wardrobe! I've been telling all my friends to go see it, but it's too bad it was only in Chicago such a short time.

Great show, great songs, loved the story, all performed beautifully. I wish the stage had been bigger...so much room for Lola's girls to do even more. I need some of those boots in my life. Get a fierce designer and get going. Wish I could take it in on Broadway.

I was extremely pleased with this musical. I had no expectations. It is a great story that has a wonderfully uplifting ending.; one of acceptance. This performance was the last one before going to New York. It truly was a fun time!

I saw Kinky Boots the second to the last night before the show closed in Chicago. My friend and I thought is was sensational. We loved all the actors, the music and the story. I did read earlier reviews and being at the end of this run was probably an advantage. It was my understanding it was playing in Chicago for a short time before bringing it to broadway in the spring. So, I think some issues had been worked out before we saw the show. Kinky boots received a standing ovation and I would highly recommend it and feel it will do well on broadway.

Just saw Kinky Boots in Chicago. Amazing cast! Fun, upbeat music and dancing. It was a touching, funny story with a great message. Be yourself, and accept others!

We (hubby and I) saw the Chicago performance of Kinky boots and really enjoyed the dancing and singing and the play as it mostly followed the movie. Lola was brilliant and Charlie started slow but finished very strong. We also enjoyed the addition of the Angel dancers and I'd swear a couple of those guys were gals, and those legs....oh my those legs....are the envy of us frumpy moms. We felt the play started slow, but build up to a wonderful performance. The "bathroom" ballad was weak and I thought the nursing home scene was less effective than the seaside dance in the movie....
My biggest complaint is the awful seating at the Bank of America Theater. I paid $99 for seats on the second tier on row C and could not see over the people in front of us or the stage performance that was "in the office". We moved seats to the side further back and could see the stage but could still not see the "office" scenes. This was very annoying. I would recommend only purchasing tickets in this theater on the second level on the first row or to the extreme sides as the third tier of the theater overhangs too low to see the whole stage.

The music and score was fantastic! The performance by all of the actors and actresses was amazing! This show rocked my world, I had the time of my life going to this with a group of people! Lola was amazing, I was highly impressed by the vocal ability of many of the performers! The use of sets was also fantastic and very creative! I

This was one of the best plays I have seen. Cyndi Lauper's music was outstanding and a couple of the songs could be stand alone hits. It made you laugh, cry, think, cheer, groove to the music and want to wear red stiletto boots!. We came from Minneapolis to see it before it goes to Broadway. I will see it everytime and anywhere I can!
