Overall festival itself was 5/5. The value drops a notch for having bought a VIP ticket.
I did fork over for Glamping, and this was the key to the weekend - a separate (and very close) entrance, easy parking, access to showers, *lots of clean bathrooms*, and a chill after-hours music stage. Amazing and brilliant idea.
The list of performers was also excellent - top notch, and all in very fine form - it definitely seemed like all the performers really enjoyed playing the festival.
Unfortunately, I also shelled out for VIP tickets, which got me... well, I'm really not sure, other than 100$ poorer. There was a "VIP" area off to the side of the main stage, which was great if you like watching a concert through an 8' fence from 500+ feet away, on a gravel parking lot, and having poorly maintained bathroom facilities. This area was sponsored by Bacardi - where they promptly ran out of rum & coke. Also, exactly zero lines were skipped by waving my magical VIP band.
In summary - Go to Live @ Squamish! It was amazing! (Just don't bother with the VIP tickets).
