Featured Review

The concert included tight stage moves, a variety of Jackson hits, warmth from all of the musicians that exuded to the audience, and a nostalgic visit with their history and Michael. The ticket price was well-worth every dollar. I loved the whole experience and would go see them again. The Howard Theatre is a revitalized, great venue, too.

The last time I saw the Jackson's in concert I was a teenager in the 1970's and they were still called the Jackson 5. Now I am 55 years old and I have the pleasure to see these living legends again after all these years. Unfortunately Michael is no longer with us but life has to go on, careers have to go on, God given talents must never be wasted or thrown away or left stagnant. They look amazing these guys, they are handsome (especially Jackie who I took a lot of photos of), they are sexy and I love their stage outfits, all were in great taste. They are much older now but they still have the moves, the voices and the stage presentation, the interaction with the fans/audience is wonderful. It is quite evident that they are happy to be back on the stage performing and we are overjoyed to see and hear them again. There was a lot of audience participation in the songs, many were singing along, dancing, clapping shouting and just so excited to see the guys again on stage together. All the songs brought back wonderful memories. I was happy to see and hear each brother individually and as a group sing and take lead on songs. Their voices still blend well together. I love both Tito and Jermaine on guitars also. The film clips and photos of the Jackson's with Michael and the family were beautiful. In fact the entire concert was entwined with tributes to Michael. I'm sure many were left teary eyed but what they saw and heard. The brothers were accompanied by an amazing band also who they later introduced to the audience. I hope they will immediately take notice of and correct the technical difficulties they have been having with the sound system for their shows, it happened in all their previous shows of the Unity Tour so far. The music overpowers the lead vocals so that many times we could not clearly and audibly hear the words to the songs or when the brothers were speaking to the fans/audience or to each other. Otherwise this show was near perfect. They were well prepared for this show. I thank God that they are back performing together on stage and I hope to see them again. I can't wait to hear all their new music. I was sitting in the lower mezzanine of the venue, I did not have VIP tickets but I still felt like a VIP anyway just for being there. I love the Jacksons!!!

The show opened up with the brothers standing still with the crowd going insane. When they opened with Can You Feel It, the whole crowd starting singing along. It was very strange seeing them perform without Michael, but they pulled it off. Michael would've been very proud of them because they were very prepared and it looked like they haven't missed a step. Marlon was dancing like someone in his 20's and the crowd was in complete awe. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to and I've been to many.

I was so happy to see The Jacksons back on stage after 28 years. The last time they went on tour was The Victory Tour way back in 1984.
It was a wonderful show, the brothers were great and they looked so good and handsome. They were amazing and full of energy, they still have it.

The opening was spectacular with all the smoke and The Jacksons came on stage with their shades on, then waited for a minute, took off their sunglasses and started the show with “Can you Feel It”. That was a fabulous performance, they did the singing together and each brother had his own part to sing.

They had a great song collection, they performed so many of their classic hits from the days of the Jackson 5 and The Jacksons. The brothers also paid tribute to Michael by performing some of his classic hits like “Rock With You”, “Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ” and “Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough”.

I loved their singing, it was great to see them singing individually and as a group. Their voices sounded so good together. I also loved their dancing, it was wonderful. I was so happy to see that they still got the moves.
They were so nice to the fans, everybody in the audience was dancing and singing along.

I really loved the part “We’re here to entertain you” (video Interlude), it was so beautiful. With so many pictures and videos from the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons days. It brought back so many memories.

Jermaine also paid tribute to Michael by singing “Gone too Soon”. It was very beautiful, with all the pictures of Michael with his family.

The Jackson 5 Medley (“I want you back”, “ABC”, “The Love You Save” and “Never Can Say Goodbye”) was wonderful. They did the singing and dancing exactly like they did it the first time in 1969, it brought me back to the Jackson 5 days.

Jermaine’s performance of “I’ll Be There” was wonderful. He took the lead on the song while Jackie and Marlon did the background vocals.

Jermaine also performed a medley of his own solo hits. Everybody was dancing and swinging along on “Dynamite” and “Let’s get Serious”. He also performed his song “Do what you do”.

The finale “Shake your Body (Down to the Ground) was just fantastic, the brothers were wonderful, they still remembered all the dance moves. It was just like the finale of the Victory Tour in 1984.
It was so much fun and when Marlon was dancing, everybody in the audience shouted “Go Marlon!! Go Marlon!!" After that he thanked all his brothers, including Randy and Michael, and all the fans in the audience.
Just wonderful!!!

I loved the show, it was wonderful and I really enjoyed it. The venue was great, everybody was so nice and having a good time. I was so lucky to shake hands with all the brothers before they left the stage.
I would definitely go see them again, because I love The Jacksons, they are amazing performers and know how to put on a good show.

I LOVED the show! I also met and sat with a mom & daughther who flew in from Finland to see the Jackson brothers perform-the daughter got to see the brothers before the show thanks to the young man Anthony (who was there w/his parents and fiance) who let her go in because she came from so far away and to the wonderful lady who has known the Jackson family for decades! She took a couple of photos of her with them and she tried to get young Anthony in but the guy at the door wouldn't let him in!

The Unity Tour has the same fever, joy & pleasure. Audience - teens, more middle aged fans, they do play all the hits. If you missed the party, shame on you. This was my third show. I hope you can see it in 2013 or in Europe where it's headed next.

I have been to many, many concerts and was disappointed with this concert. The problem was that they (Jacksons) were drowned out by the band. When they were SPEAKING to the audience we could not understand anything they were saying.
It was an entertaining evening....but I just expected a better production. They were 15 minutes late before they appeared, and then after the lights dimmed we sat in the dark waiting for a few more minutes for it to start.
We were disappointed because we anticiapated a much more professional, and polished event. Sure they could turn and spin on cue..but not being able to hear the words was very disappointing. If we had not had the songs memorized...we would have been lost.

the Jacksons have been onstage almost their entire lives, and it showed Saturday, in Biloxi; excellent harmony vocals, Jermaine filled Michael's lead vocals with aplomb, but unfortunately, the 3-song Jermaine solo set the boys were performing last summer was absent this night...ironically, during "I'll be there", Jermaine sang Michael's vocal part, while Marlon did Jermaine's...Marlon is more than capable of singing for Michael, so I think they should have switched roles...high energy performance, and great setlist

All I Can Say Is WOW!!!!! And AWESOME!!!!! It just brought back so many memories. The brothers still have it and even though Michael is no longer here on earth with them you can feel his presence.

The show was AWESOME!!! If you get the chance to go to one of their concerts do it! My feet hurt from being up and dancing so much! My friend said my face glowed through the whole show. Loved these fellas since I was an itty bitty girl! Don't know exactly how I ended up picking first row seats but it was luck for sure to be right up front. After shaking their hands as they were going off stage I swore not to wash my hand ever again (or at least not for the night)!. Music was great, they each split different parts of different songs and sang beautifully. Just a wonderful experience! Again AWESOME show and Michael's spirit has got to be there with them because though you know he's not there you don't miss his presence. Definitely going again if it's near! FANTASTIC job JACKSONS!

They could still pull it together after all these years. All the songs were memorable and reminiscent of the early years with Michael - a trip down the memory lane. Not a single boring moment- everybody was upbeat on their feet dancing !
