Location:New York
The Setting..the Acoustics..the Musicians..the Singers..and especially Conductor Victor Vener.. all contributed to a magnificent Concert and memorable experience at Disney's Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Maestro Vener was warm and friendly (and funny) and spoke to the audience before each selection..making for a very enjoyable concert for everyone. The California Philharmonic played brilliantly and the group of four Singers who appeared with them..singing both Operatic pieces and Broadway Show tunes..were just superb. The fabulous Architecture of the Frank Gehry Building Must Be Seen..from both outside and inside..making Disney's Concert Hall a Must for anyone visiting Los Angeles.

I bought tickets because i just wanted to hear music at Disney Hall for the first time. Turns out I picked a delightful performance with outstanding vocalists. I appreciate the orchestral music without over amplification. And with our second row seats we also heard the vocalists unplugged.

It was excellent. The orchestra is great as usual with the charming intertaining maesto Victor Vener. The singers were wonderful. It was a wonderful afternoon.
