I did not want it to end! The dancing was explosive and powerful! The music was amazing and the cast was perfect. We took our daughter for her Sweet 16 and she turned during the program and said, "this was the best birthday I have ever had!"

My best friend and I were HUGE fans of the original movie and let me tell you...Jack stole my heart again from the first note! Everything was spectacular- costumes, dancing, vocals.. I could go on and on! I WILL see it again!!! PERFECTION!! I will "CARRY THE BANNER" for this musical!

Saw Newsies on August 12th with Corey Cott as the male lead, Jack Kelly. Was disappointed at first to not see Jeremy Jordan, but that feeling only lasted until Corey came onstage. He was a perfect Jack Kelly, and I'm so excited that he will be taking over the role!! The show was simply amazing, filled with phenomenal dancing and enjoyable music. As a fan of the original movie, I found this production to exceed my expectations and I can't wait to see it again!!

I don't think anything will be able to top The Lion King, but Newsies was phenomenal. The cast was great, the choreography was fun and energetic, and I even loved to plot change from the film. I was really impressed with the dancing and was very excited when a tap number was performed - definitely not something I expected. The set designers did a great job of fully utilizing all of the vertical space. I was engaged during the entire show and my level of excitement never waned. When the cast left the stage after their final bow, my sister and I sat in our seats, wishing we could hit "rewind" and watch it all over again. I would love to see this show again and again!

I attended the April 21 afternoon performance. It was awesome and amazing; well worth the ticket price. I've seen the movie many, many times --- the movie was great but this theatrical production is out-standing and incredible and, in my own opinion, is even better than the movie version. The cast are incredible and super talented. The show uses every inch of the stage (front, back, up and down). By the end of the performance my hands were numb from clapping so much, I had a huge smile on my face, and the music was so enchanting I was humming the tunes in my thoughts as I left the theater.
I sat in the mezzanine section, and I don't think there was a bad seat in the entire mezzanine and balcony sections (and possibly in the entire theater).
If you haven't seen it, I highly encourage you to go and attend at least one performance. You will not regret it. If you loved the movie, "Newsies", you definitely will love this. If you are a theater aficionado who loved the classic Broadway musicals by George M. Cohen, Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Lerner and Loew, you will definitely enjoy this production.

I saw it on Sunday and enjoyed it! Great acting and singing. The choreography and set were spectacular! This should have won Best Musical. My only problem was my seats had a great view, but the top of the set was blocked off, so we couldn't see the people when they were in the top of the set.

This is one of the best musicals I have ever seen. The set was great. Great dancing and singing. Live orchestra. The entire musical was high energy and the the story line was clear and easy to follow. Great fun !!

While the traditional songs and the amazingly cleaver sets keept me and my wife entertained we both struggled with many of the story changes in the story. Bottom like if your interested in wildly entertaining dancing and singing you will love this play but if you are going to rediscover the original move in broadway just watch the DVD again

It had been quite some time since we attended a Broadway production and Newsies did not disappoint. Talented actors, fresh and entertaining. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys musicals.

I thought the muscial was fun inventive, and the music memorable. My only critic was that the orchestra at times was too loud for the singers, distracting from what they were singing and being able to enjoy the show and follow the story.
