Rita Rudner was incredibly hilarious. Her lines as well as her presentation was very tastefull and in a very profssional manner. Brad Garrett on the other hand was vulgar and his filthy language was anything but funny. His demeaning attacks of various members of the audience based on their heritage or age was not funny, and was totally out of line. This was apparently the best he had to offer! Very disappointing! By the way, we left the theater after only 15 minutes of his "performance".

Rita Rudner was funny and enjoyable as always.

First time seeing Brad Garrett's comedy act. He is totally irreverent and outrageously funny. Nobody is spared his cutting wit. Elderly, gay, straight, military, rednecks were all included in his side splitting routine. We laughed until we cried.

It's pretty sad when an entertainer has to introduce herself before she enters onto the stage as Rudner, apparently, had to do. I was also a little surprised that she led off the show, giving me the impression that she was the "warm-up" for Brad Garrett. Her material was pretty disorganized, but there were some good lines that can be remembered. Towards the end of her performance, she appeared like she couldn't wait to get off the stage. If it would make Rudner feel any better, I would only tell her that Garrett's "performance" was worse. I fully know that the evening's performance was geared for an adult audience, as George Carlin's and Richard Pryor's performances were. However, where Pryor and Carlin used profane language as skillfully as a surgeon wields a scalpel, Garrett chose to use it like a club to beat and ridicule various minorities.....Sad.

I went with a group of four folks. Our primary reason for attending was Rita Rudner. She did not disappoint. She is a classic funny person, and we truly enjoyed her show. Brad was another story. Our group only lasted 10 minutes into his show. He dropped the f bomb every other word and clearly did not have any comic material of his own to present. He was down right lewd, and spent his whole time making fun of audience members and the venue in a way that was was just rude and offensive. We walked out disgusted. The man has no real comic talent.

We have been Rita Rudner fans for a while. Used to watch her on TV, but she kind of disappeared. I thought she retired, but come to find out she has had a six year gig at Vegas. Her humor is still low key, funny observations, and making fun of human foibles. No worse than PG rated and very entertaining.

Brad Garrett, on the other hand, bases his humor on a little self-deprecation, but mostly making fun of others. Not general observations, but specific insults based on prejudices and stereotypes. He thinks that by prefacing his comments with "I calls them as I sees them" gives him license to say anything, no matter how embarassing and humiliating the comments. His type of "humor" may appeal to some, but it was a definite disappointment to me.

Have seen Rita Rudner several times now. Always enjoy her humor.

Brad Garrett did not seem to have a 'show.' He spent his time on stage engaging with the audience and was amusing at times....downright crude at others...and I am really not that easily offended.

Overall, it was an ok evening but would not repeat it if given the chance to do so for free.

Expected to find both Rita and Brad funny, but was really surprised by how rowdy it got with Brad... if you are sensitive to any faults stay away from the stage -- he will come after you. The show was a lot of fun and enjoyable... I do recommend!

I love Rita Rudner on her HBO specials years ago and it was an opportunity not to be missed to see her live. She has a classy humor with no need for vulgarity. She did some of her old material and also some new stuff. Even though I'd heard some of it before, I still love hearing it. She's great! And Brad was good for his type of humor, but I can honestly say that I can't appreciate the type of comedy he does. I think people would have to have a thick skin to be in the front row and be the butt of his jokes. I don't find it amusing, and maybe a little rude. I kind of felt sorry for him, but maybe I missed the point. He kept saying he was all about love, but I don't think his comedy act is the best way to demonstrate the love he was professing to have. But I'm sure he is a nice and decent person.

Rita Rudner was first up and I was amazed at how funny she was without a single curse word, off color joke or controversial topic! Loved her classy comedy!
Brad shocked the audience immediately with his politically incorrect jokes, heckles of the audience, and language. Obviously this isnt for everyone and some left during his portion. I appreciated his self-deprecating humor most but would probably not go see him again, but I would definitely see Rita again!!

I've been a fan of Rita's work for years now, though I've only seen her television work until now. I definitely feel I got my money's worth, Rita came through.
There were a few moments where she was speaking too quickly for me to understand the setup to the punchline, though; I know this was a one night engagement, and she was due to appear in North Miss. the next night, so she may have felt pressed for time. I'd be very curious to attend Rita's performance in Vegas, in order to see her performance with a "home field advantage".
I had no expectations for Brad, except to say I was aware of his style of "working blue". Nevertheless, it was an entertaining set. The celebrity impressions, brief as they were, were surprisingly good - I would wish he included more of this in his routine, as opposed to the insults to the audience.

Rita opened for Brad and she was HILARIOUS! I was afraid he would come out an we would be disappointed because she was so funny! He was GREAT! Unfortunately some people came expecting "Robert" and they were shocked! He was rude and crude and picked on audience members mercilessly but we found him to be very funny! People actually got up and walked out on him and he made fun of them too. I would go see them both again in a heartbeat. My girl friend and I enjoyed Rita more than our husband's because she did a little man bashing but it was clean and SOOOO true! Loved her!
