The dresses were beautiul, the voices were "choir like". But, where was the "Celtic" part? Not in the show. The Christian message was good, but the main reason my husband and I went was for the celtic part of it. We thought, how awesome it would be to hear our two favorite types of music.. Christian AND celtic! There was one song at the very end, that had no singing in it. This was the "one" song that was very celtic. We got to hear the beautiful flute and bagpipe type instrument (my apologies, I dont know that names). LOVED IT!
There was one gentleman that came "bouncing" out to announce one song. He had a very slight Irish accent, which we loved! And his performance was great!
There was another gentleman that came out with a story of "The Spirit of Death". Love it and LOVED him!
But the singing was mediocre, and not celtic.
I guess we were looking for Irish accents, lots of "energy" upbeat music, dancing, explosive singing, more flutes and bagpipes!! Mostly what we heard was.. Choir.. Just, choir... And even then, it was just "ok".
There were plenty of female solo singers, but only 2 male solo's I think?
So, I'd have to say.. I wouldnt recomment this to a friend. We can go anywhere and see "choir"..
