My wife, daughter and I went to this event expecting to have a good time and as it turned out, we had a great time! The facilities at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are fabulous and the staff were awesome. The races could not have been more exciting and the sights sounds and smells just added to a wonderful day.

Location:Long Beach, CA
Every event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway compound is a five star event. The parking is both free and convenient and the venue is first class. Every seat is a good one and there is a wide variety of food and merchandise. The racing is obviously spectacular and if you've never been to a NHRA drag race, you must do so.

There is no other experience like this in the world and it can't be explained...you have to experience it in person. The entire event was handled very well; parking coordination, ticketing, security, restroom facilities, pit and team access, vendor variety and cleanliness. On the downside, I felt that the cost of drinks (water, Powerade, and Beer) at $4 to $8 has gotten really excessive. The thing that I appreciated the most was how the seated fans stayed SEATED as the race cars flew by. The consideration for all to be able view the action was greatly appreciated.

A charged atmosphere filled with the haze of from hazed tires and the taste of nitro. What a fun filled day of terrific drag racing. A sport that truly needs to be experienced in person to enjoy to the full extent of nd drama these races provide.

It's great that your ticket is also a pit pass and you can go and visit with the drivers and watch the crew rebuild the motors!

The races were good. but the nitro and funny cars were not racing to the scheduled time so we missed our evening reservations to see them. NHRA needs to remind people through the announcer from time to time that smoking is not allowed in the grand stands there were people around us smoking when we told them that it was not allowed they got very rude and said that is was allowed. I was also very disappointed when a piece of track came loose I felt that it was due to lack of maintenance on the track.

October is the perfect month for holding race events in Las Vegas.
The weather is good all month long and the temperature is ideal for spectators watching the races. NHRA events at 'The Strip' never disappoint the fans.
