Good job putting on the bowl. Decent sized crowd, concession lines were good, no parking troubles.
The weather was nice so I do wish they would have opened the roof - while having the roof closed helped the noise level, it also sterilized the setting. Only other item is too many ads blaring while the university's bands were trying to play. Honestly, I know ad revenue is important, but I would bet most would rather hear the bands and lower the volume of the ads.
11am kickoff sucked a bit & limited the stellar tailgating opportunities normally found at Reliant, but I recognize that was a TV network decision and not the bowl's choice.
Glad the bands performed at halftime instead of goofy lip-synching 'stars' or jr.high drill teams like at some other bowls. I enjoy having a bowl in Houston - B12 & B10 is a good matchup regardless of records.
