I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this production, having never seen any of this groups' previous work, although I do remember all the buzz about "Crowns". I found "Sweatin' da Bluez -da Muzikle", to be a delightful and emotionally rousing romp! I loved it! The musical, vocal and acting talent of the primary players was stunning. Even those without speaking roles performances' were impressive. I laughed out loud many times and found this entire production to be charming and professional. What a yummy treat for a Sunday afternoon. I will be looking forward to the next work of this extremely gifted group of musicians, singers and actors. It was regretful that there were no other performances of "Sweatin' da Bluez - da Muzikle", my friends would have enjoyed it as well. What a fantastic surprise!

Sweatin Da Bluez was as good of a production in every way as anything that I have ever seen produced on Broadway!---the music,the set, the costuming,the lighting, the acting, the script, the directing, the choreography, and most of all the POWERHOUSE singing!
