I've never been to a classical ballet before, but I decided to go with my wife on Saturday night. It was unbelievable. The precision. The grace of movement. The people were like flying. It's better than seeing a dumb movie. And I appreciate the fact that the performers were smiling.

The talent and depth of the New Jersey Ballet Company is extraordinary. Every scene in Don Quixote was amazing and the costumes were beautiful. Bravo to all the performers.

This ballet company has depth. A number of ballerinas gave great performances. The costumes were magnificent. An enjoyable evening. Oh yes, the plot had little to do with Don Quixote--a plus.

"Don Quixote" was mesmerizing! The music, choreography, and dancing were a total treat. One could hear a pin drop! I must see this again. I couldn't have picked a better Mother's Day gift for my mom!

If ya wanna get some nuts cracked in Joisey, there's no betta place than with the Joisey Ballet and their production of the Nutcracker. Holiday festivities abound, the dancing was lovely and all the kids, from young to teenies, actually watched without drama. Nice performance.

I took my 10 year old and 6 year old to their first Nutcracker Ballet here. It was interesting, with great costumes and staging effects that kept the kids entertained during the 2 hours. The company dancers showed off great skill in the second half of the ballet. They used the kids very well. Despite the lack of orchestra, it was well done and entertaining. Orchestra seats were 1/7th that of NYC Ballet, but I got much much more for my money!

There were some excellent dancers in the company. Our 9 year old granddaughter really enjoyed the performance, which was our goal. However, it was disappointing to see the dance performed to canned music. The contribution of a live orchestra is not to be underestimated. Something to consider for next year.

The ballet was very beautiful and awe inspiring. The music and scenery were great. There were a lot of kids---mostly well-behaved. However, unless your child is over, it seems a waste of $$$$. Too much talking, crying and the overwhelming smell of popcorn.......it's NOT the circus or a sporting event!!!! I was disappointed at the number of people who walked in WAY LATE---however, since the parking is terrible.......perhaps that doesn't help.

The principals were average and the children's parts were average. Lots of the children's groups were out of sync. The best group of dancers were the girls in the opening party scenes and the two main dancers in the Waltz of the Flowers. Do not sit in the upper levels. The rows are so close together that even you children under 10 will need to sit with their legs apart.

took our granddaughter age 4 to see the nutcracker for the first time. she loved it - dancing in her seat - and so did we as adults. music of course was great, the dancers very good, costumes very beautiful, effects grand and even the lighting was very good. it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we plan to see it again next year.

NJ Ballet's Nutcracker was a fantastic way to kick off our Christmas season! I definitely recommend the event to everyone! Whether you have never seen the show or see it every year, it NEVER disappoints.
