Diaz made a 1690 Stradivarius viola sound like two violas. The range and lyricism were remarkable. Theater acoustics and intimacy were outstanding.

Best violist, best viola, perfect piano and a perfect venue. It truly doesn't get any better. This was a magnificent concert in every way.

It had been years since I had attended a concert in Coolidge auditorium and had forgotten how perfect it is acoustically. This was the best musical performance of anything I have attended for years...hopefully I will be able to come back for more!

Beautiful music played with fine instruments and heart.
Diaz was the star but I'd also go to hear Kwan again anytime.
