This was a great show - my 4 1/2 year old daughter loved it and it even kept my 1 1/2 year old son's attention - I would recommend this to anyone who knows Eric Carle's books - we didn't know one of the 3 books so my daughter enjoyed discovering a new story and will get the book because of this performance - it was only 1 hour long which seemed a little short to me, but I guess longer might not keep young children's attention -

Wanted to see the Orpheum theatre on our weekend in Memphis. We're preschool thru elem. teachers and this one hour black art puppet theatre was perfect !

the hungry caterpillar was awesome! the brown bear story had great puppets. moon story, good, but lacked the "awe".

This show was absolutely great. My son who loves theses books was able to be involved and enjoy and learn all at the same time. The puppetry and colors were outstanding!! Loved how the took the time at the end and explained how puppets work and how they got their colors to glow.

Very cute puppets and pictures! Vivid and colorful! The play really brought the stories to life with narration. My 5 yr old daughter was attentive the entire time. The play was about 45 minutes, a little shorter than what I had expected but the puppeteers asked the audience questions for another 10 minutes or so. They answered questions and showed the audience how the puppets moved and other special effects.

I have never taken the time to review an event but this show was so wonderful that I feel compelled to so everyone will know how great it was. The 3 person group from Nova Scotia does an amazing job retelling three stories. The show is done in black light and words can't describe the way the characters from the three stories look. My favorite was the hungry caterpillar ! Very cute! After the show the group explained how all puppets worked and moved. I don't know who enjoyed more... my 7 year old or me! If you lIke Eric Carle stories you should definitely see this.

As a preschool teacher, the Eric Carle books are favorites with my students.
Please bring this show to Corpus Christi so more of our teachers can attend, the driving distance is better for us. We'll fill the show with a wonderful audience.
