This show was jammed full of melodic hard rock. Snakeskyn Whiskey was a fine opening band with solid songs and great stage presence. Nasty Habit, a local favorite, tore up the stage with some young and energetic rock music. Wildstreet was an audience favorite and played a nice set of sleazy rock totally fitting to NY City. Crucified Barbara from Stockholm, Sweden pounded the crowd with some straight ahead New Wave of Swedish Sleaze sounds. The oddball of the night, Pui, stuck out like a sore thumb on this bill but they had their following and were sound in every way. Maybe not the most appropriate for this lineup but solid. Finally, Crashdiet took the stage and put on the best performance that I've seen from them to date. The sound was perfect. The change-over timing was perfect. The venue had all bases covered. Best concert experience in a long time.
