Been involved with caucus since 1974. It gives a good comical insight into various things that have taken place over the years . Typical scene in cafe. Actors performed very well.

Location:from Iowa City, saw play in DesMoines

This show was timely, well-acted, and very funny. It poked fun at politicians and also poked gentle fun at Iowans in general. The actors did a great job with their characters. We could hear and see well.

The only thing that ruined the humor was the reality of the characters. (They are great for entertainment just not reality.) Great play and great production.

Wow, what a show! From the exquisite writing,......funny, poignant, right on with what politics is, it moves you! I loved the cast! Everyone is energetic and beautifully cast. Bravo to the director and writers of this show. The song "what I want" almost brought me to tears. I will never forget it.

Moved here from Illinois last year and did not realize Iowa was first for voting,so this is perfect way to understand why there are so many political ads on TV. We feel truly important and it showed through the songs & comedy of the musical.

I love the Stoner Theatre. Forget the big glitzy productions and enjoy some up close and personal entertainment. Yes, you can even see the actor's faces! and hear what they are saying! Lots of local talent. It was delightful and very funny.
