If you love rock music this is an awesome festival! I went to the one in St. Louis and loved it! The lineup was pretty good. Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Deuce, In This Moment, Mindset Evolution and others.
Shinedown- Don't think they should have been headlining. I like a few of their songs but I'm not a huge fan or anything. They put on a good show, though.
Godsmack- I'm a Godsmack fan. Love them but Sully kept turning around and facing the speakers when he was playing guitar. They were better than Shinedown by far. I will say Sully is somewhat of a badass on drums.
Staind- Aaron Lewis was kind of pissy like always. His guitarist put on a damn good show.
Papa Roach- Even though Jacoby didn't have a voice-- he rocked the hardest! I'm a huge Papa Roach fan so I may be a little biased but I think they should have headlined the whole thing if they wouldn't have had to drop out. Glad he's better now and hopefully they can be at this years Uproar.
The side stages were awesome and very crowded. I love crowds though. It was like one big party-- people were crowd surfing. We actually started it while Deuce was on an people kept coming to us so we could lift them up. It was just awesome. P.O.D. was amazing and crazy. I wasn't an In This Moment fan until I saw then live now I'm a big fan. I cannot wait until next year!!! Excited to see this years' lineup :)

We arrived about an hour before Adelitas Way came onto the main stage at 6:00. They were great, I knew all of their songs and really enjoyed their performance. I have seen Adelitas Way before with Shinedown and they were not so good, I think frontman, Rick was better at engaging the crowd at this concert. The crowd was a little disappointing during their show, guess not many people know them. The Collapse, Sick, Invincible are great live!!!

Staind was next and put on a good show however frontman Aaron is a weird dude, or his onstage performance is super cocky. I have heard this about him before but didn't expect him to leave the stage at the end and say nothing to the crowd.....Not even a Thanks Houston or Long Live Rock and Roll.....I will see them again but only if they are paired with another awesome band.

Godsmack!!!!! Daaaang, this show kicked ass. These guys know how to rock. First of all, they had a curtain completely covering their set and when they came on the curtain just dropped and they started jamming. It was intoxicating!!! Their setlist selection was superb and the crowd was freaking amazing!!! Everyone was on their feet and the energy was none I have ever seen before,,,,except maybe Rush or Linkin Park. At one point during the show Sully had everyone turn off their cell phones, I think at the end of Speak and just "feel" the rock and roll energy. It was incredible, really enjoyed this show. I will for sure see them again, headliner or not!!! Sully and company were total beasts!! Speak, Cryin like a Bitch, Get Up, Get Out, Straight Out of Line.....all of them were unreal.

Shinedown was the headliner and they are always outstanding live!!! I looooove this band and Brent's voice is like none other. I could listen to him 24-7. They had a good mixture of old and new tunes,,,,Fly from the Inside----always one of my faves and I knew all of the Amaryliis new tunes. The pyro show was good but not necessary, sometimes it takes away from actual performace. They could do without so much of it in my opinion. Their Simple Man gig is getting old....even though they are better than Skynryd, they can take this one out of their show now. They rocked this show and if you haven't seen them GO SEE THEM!!!

First off i'll start off by saying... Staind? 4 stars, Aaron seemed pissy, but isn't he always? Good live like always.

2.. Godsmack. Seriously not headlining? You gotta be joking, 2nd time i've saw godsmack. Tampa crowd was ok, but not as good as orlando's tinker field festival crowd.,. Much cooler over there. Unfortunately i chose MM/Rob zombie in tampa out of convenience, going back again i'd choose the orlando, in fact from now on, whenever possible i'm choosing orlando venues over tampa. Nonetheless it's all good.

3. Shinedown.. Embarrassing, how bad are these guys? The lead singer poses and struts around, it was super lame . It was like watching nickelback without all the sexual undertones. Shinedown is the ballad version of arena "rock"

Why was shinedown headlining? Seriously? You should of seen the people leaving, we left after 4 songs in, we knew who shinedown was. But it was so lame.. SO LAME!!

Uproar seriously? Godsmack not headlining over Shinedown.. Really?

Went there with my dad, sister, and her friend. It was without a doubt, the best concert experience I've ever had. Getting there early enough to get my CDs autographed by all of Shinedown and Thousand Foot Krutch was great, but then my dad and I got super close to P.O.D. before going to the main stage to see Adelita's Way, Staind, Godsmack, and Shinedown. We even got free upgrades to our seats! Godsmack had an incredible performance to warm everyone up for Shinedown. Great lights, special effects, and pyrotechnics. This is a must see festival for all rock lovers!

To start off, my only disappointment was the fact that the concert was on a weekday during the day. My girlfriend and I go to roughly 7 concerts a year and we always purchase the best seats during pre-sale. In this case we weren’t financially able to get tickets to the concert until I noticed they were on sale through Groupon for $20 a ticket (AND it wasn’t lawn seats!). While we were a bit reluctant because the seats were so far back we decided to get them anyway. The show started at 1pm and we weren’t able to get off of work until about 2:30. Living about 30 mins from the venue we were hoping to at least make it in time to see P.O.D who we recently saw at 98 Rockfest earlier in the year. We had purchased their new cd based on that performance and were really looking forward to it. While they weren’t as energetic as the last time we saw them they still put on a great show and their new cd is definitely worth buying.

On to the main stage. As I said we were reluctant because our seats were in section 16 row z, yes I said ‘Z’! But there were still about 5 rows behind us. Apparently the show didn’t sell out so everyone who purchased lawn seats got to sit in section 15 which was the back middle section. Personally this was a bit of a blow to me because our section was in the back to the right but we stayed put. Adelita’s Way started the main stage and they put on a great show, it was still daylight so many people were still somewhat sober and the area wasn’t filled to capacity.

When Staind came on stage shortly after Adelita’s Way it was a bit of a surprise because lead singer Aaron Lewis rarely speaks to the crowd! I’ve heard of him being arrogant and sort of thinking he’s “above others” and his attitude did seem that way. In his defense, he sounded amazing! His voice is just as good live as it is on any cd, ep or radio station. He sang his last song and walked off stage without saying a word to the crowd! I’m just glad he wasn’t the last band to play.

GODSMACK. GODSMACK. GODSMACK. I cannot begin to describe how freaking amazing this band was. He interacted with the crowd like none other. He sang all of their 90’s hits that I anticipated and a few others I didn’t think there’d be time for. Towards the end of their set the lead singer came out on a drum set alongside their drummer and both did a fantastic drum solo that lasted almost 10 minutes! My breath was taken away! I wish I could live that moment a thousand times over…and be closer to the stage lol! Our seats actually weren’t terrible but it would have been nice to be in our usual section near the front of the stage. Before their last song the lead singer had a heart to heart with the crowd telling everyone to put their cameras, smart phones and video cameras away because you will never be able to live the energy of that very moment. He was right! Almost everyone put it away. He also chided a group near the front that refused to stand during their set calling them either “too drunk to stand” or “too old to be at that particular concert with everyone else there” The crowd roared and LOVED every bit of it!! They performed one last song and their set was unfortunately over. I could not stop thinking about that damned drum solo until the next set came on stage. This was my first time seeing them as I’d seen most of the other bands before. I am so happy they exceeded my expectations.

Finally it was time for Shinedown. They were also the show’s closer for 98 Rockfest earlier this year. During that previous show there were many technical difficulties so the entire show was in an acoustic setting. It was nice to actually be able to see the full potential of the entire band and everyone loved the pyro!! It was awesome! Lead singer Brent of Shinedown has one of the most recognizable and amazing voices out there! I actually think he sounds better live than on any other device I’ve heard him on. The band was energetic and the crowd was wild. It was a perfect ending to an amazing day.

The show was excellent, Godsmack as expected stole the show. I have seen shinedown three times now at different events and they have been good every time, but i think they rely on the pyro too much to close the show. Was really cool that for a purchase of a CD (now not playable due to it being signed) you get to meet the band whos CD you bought and get signatures, was slightly dissapointing that Godsmack didnt do a meet and greet, little more that Sully didnt sign the CD with his bandmates... Only real gripe i had was with management, called ahead the day of the show to know what was allowed in, walked all the way to the gate just to be turned back with a statement that the "tour management" decided an hour before the show to not allow towels/blankets/chairs/coolers into the venue... not the end of the world, but i stand on principles, and in this day and age of fast communication technology there is no excuse for a last minute rule change in my opinion. Great show, but this hurts my opinion of Rockstar.

This concert was amazing. The main stage line up was the perfect build up to Shinedown. Staind, Godsmack and Shinedown KILLED IT! I love Papa Roach and they are one of my all-time favorite live bands, but I have decided I prefer them in a more intimate, indoor venue. This was a great FIRST concert for my boyfriend. He now loves live music as much as I do...however, I may have created a monster. He is already trying to decide on our next concert to attend :)

This had to be one of the best festival's I've been to in a while. There was just so many great people getting fully into the experience enough to make the lawn totally worth it. I'd go every year it comes to Indianapolis from now on!

my favorite band was art of dying but most the bands of the day were amazing. avenged sevenfold, the headlining band, ended up not playing so that was real upsetting but they're coming back to play a free show for us so that makes up for it i guess.

This was my first concert here. The grounds were comfortable, clean and without incident. If you purchase a seat then you are able to sit on the lawn area which is nice and elevated, easy to see the bands play. It's a great stage and having the huge movie screens assures you that your not going to miss out on any of it. The bathrooms were pretty much immaculate and I felt very safe walking alone to and from my seat. It's just about 35 min from Sacramento and a beautiful drive at that. Hwy 65 leads you right to it. If on 65 you will be turning west right to the place. Maybe Hwy 5 is faster however. We arrived at around 3pm, looked around at the venders, had a beer, ate, sat on the grass Be prepared in spending $10 for 16oz beer. $5.50 for fries and hotdog but you expect this type of pricing. Well I do. The beer was REALLY COLD. They do pat you down lightly and peek in you backpack but think they are mainly concerned about weapons. This is a good thing. We got out of the parking lot in 15 min and were on our way. I was VERY happy with the place and concert. The pyrotechnics were amazing and you can hear the music loud and clear in seats or on the grass. Best part about the grass area is that it is on a incline behind the seats, so no one is blocking your view. No smoking in the seats.
Anyway's overall, it was a great time.

for years i have listened to avenged sevenfold and bullet for my valentine and three days grace, and the fact that i got to see them perform live is a once in a lifetime opportunity. after i saw art of dying(and met them) i saw sevendust, then escape the fate, bfmv, seether, three days grace, and the one and only legendary AVENGED SEVENFOLD. i was practically jumping up and down and screaming for all of a7x and bfmv. but avenged sevenfold was the one that killed the stage. i will never forget the moment the curtain dropped and nightmare started playing. all i can say is best night ever and definently worth your money.

This was a stunning concert experience. Not meant for younger kids but enjoyable for anyone over 13 who loves hard core rock music. I loved it had sooo much fun.

Had tickets right behind the pit, it was awesome! I don't have a complaint about any of them. 3 Days Grace was really good getting the crowd amped up for Avenged. A7X came out and rocked it. My first tiem seeing all of the bands minus Sevendust. Sure as hell didn't disappoint!!!!!

The show was great. We were upgraded to pavilion seats right before Three Days Grace came on. The only band we didn't like was Seether. No interaction with the audience, no enthusiasm, nothing. They were pretty dull. I could have watched them on TV and been more entertained. Other than that, all the bands kicked major ass.

I LOVE IT!! THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!! HAD LOTS OF FUN!! just one word of advice, if the equipment overheats have a back up because the last 2 performing artist volume was really low. I LOVE AVENGED SEVENFOLD!!

I agree with WastEd4e, I was on the lawn and the speakers actually were not on at all. Not just soft, NOT ON! Ridiculous. Someone should get fired. The bands were AMAZING thought, and A7X had a superb performance. I don't even listen to them much, but live they were the sickest show I've ever seen. The bands were 5 star, but the sound was 2.

Overall it was a good show. No way should Sevendust have been on the 2nd stage. They should've been swapped to the main stage for Escape the Fate (nothing against Escape the Fate). Second stage ran from like 2-5 then the main stage started til 11.

I bought $25 PartyPass tickets and they were a total joke. Included lawn tix that allowed early entry, access to the PartyZone from 2-6pm, private bathrooms, photo ops with Miss Uproar contestants. No one knew anything about it; took over an hour of asking lots of staff to finally find out where to go. When we found it it was a fenced off area of emptiness outside along the fence (you had a view of the 2nd stage). Not one person was hanging out there the entire 2-6 time except the guy handing out the bracelets. Definitely no private bathrooms and no photo ops with Miss Uproar contestants. If I had actually paid a premium for these "special" tix I'd be very upset right now.

uproar made a fantastic decision having A7X headline this year. The line up in general was amazing but if we are being honest, the true reason I went in two different cities was for Avenged.

Always an experience, Avenged is the definition of incredible. They sound almost identical to their recordings. flawless.

Escape the Fate was incredible!!
