Wednesday night's PJ Morton show was amazing! I'd always heard the name PJ Morton tossed around, but I'd never heard any of his music except "Let Go, Let God," which DeWayne Woods recorded a few years back. The whole show was excellent. I wasn't disappointed with anything. It's now Friday, and I'm still on a PJ "high." Because the show was so great and his writing is so great, yesterday, I went on Amazon's site and purchased all the music he's ever released...and after that, I was sure to get the free "Independently Major" mixtape at a friend's suggestion and the "My First Mind" EP. I'm lovin all that I'm hearing. PJ has a new fan here in DC. Can't wait to see him in concert again.
Dawn Richard was very good as well. She looked GREAT and she definitely kept the attention of the audience. When she felt the crowd's attention fizzing, she got it right back up to 10. She was great, and I wish for much success for her.
