The format was good. Two 1 set semi's and a giant set final. Chang / Courier was a very well played and competitive set. Chang's serving was amazing. Sampras beat down McEnroe, who was coming back from injury. Then Sampras whupped Chang, who didn't serve as well in the final. The players had fun with each other and fun with the crowd. And they can all still play very well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable event.

Not knowing what to expect, we weren't as impressed as we had been when we bought the tickets. The play had some highlights but it was overall an entertainment event not a sporting event. Case in point, the regular rules regarding getting up during play were ignored.

The Tennis was excellent and very enjoyable. I was disappointed that Borg did not play as advertised. Borg vs McEnroe would have been awsome.

The front section behind the baseline was terrible. These are the more expensive seats but they were temporary seating built for this specfic tennis match. The problem with these seats were that the height elevation between rows were very slight about 8 inches. I was seated just 7 rows back in the section behing the baseline. I was not able to see over the heads of the people in front of me. Anyway, during the changeover, I went back to the empty rows, the cheaper section and watch the rest of the event. The upper section was better and I can see the whole court. Next year I will not buy the more expensive front section unless it is the 1st row.
FYI. We were not allowed to bring in SLR Cameras as they were considered professional cameras. Point and shoot and cell phone cameras with flash were ok.

Great entertainment. McEnroe and Agassi were their usual entertaining selves. These legends can still hit the ball hard and with great precision. It was a disappointment that Borg was not there, although Todd Martin was still entertaining.
One downside was the crowd. Finally get some live tennis in Chicago, and the crowd was not really into it. Lighten up and have fun.

The main reason i signed up for this event was to see Bjorn Borg. Nothing was ever mentioned that he wasn't there or even an apology that the players had changed. I assumed since the players were playing for big bucks it would be competitive tennis and not an entertainment show. i know Chicago is a busy city, but we spent eight hours in the car getting to the event and I didn't get to see the one player I expected to see play tennis.
It was not worth taking the time off work and being disappointed by the time we actually got there and had to pay another $20.00 just to park. I wanted to get a souvinour but $30.00 for a short sleeve T-shirt, are you kidding me?

Very good, lots of fun. amazing to see the arm speed and eye-hand coordination of these "old guys". tennis was good, and they their banter was lively. they have done much for tennis over the years, and they are still helping the sport.

Although I was a bit disappointed that Borg didn't make it, Todd Martin is a class act. It was great seeing him, Agassi, McEnroe, & Courier in this fun event. I hope to go again in 2012. How about a similar women's event?

I was disappointed in the quality of tennis. Mostly I was disappointed that Borg wasn't there and he was advertised. Todd Martin is not exactly an equal substitution.
It would have been nice if the players had mics on. No one above the floor seats could hear what they were saying and that would have made it a little more fun.
I thought the player's commentary was staged and a little forced. Really unfortunate.

It was fun to see some players play who played most of their careers before I really watched tennis. I was a little bummed Borg did not show up. I would definitely go again.

We thought there was a little to much hipe. Also the music was way too loud and the announcer talked too loud. This is a sporting event. People that attend sporting event do not need all the bells and whistles. We enjoy the activity itself.

I enjoyed the matches very much. Todd Martin is a very capable tennis player who I admire a great deal, but the event was advertised to include Bjorn Borg who is one of my all time favorites. There was no explanation as to his absence and why Martin was substituted.

It was a thrill to see these tennis greats. There was a little too much goofing around amongst the players, but the championship match was more serious and proved that these guys still can strut their stuff!

All players were fun to watch. I liked that they could relax and play some good tennis while getting some friendly banter in as well. I would recommend putting a small microphone on the players as it was hard to hear some of the things they were saying if you were sitting farther away. Overall, great event! I will definitely look to go again in the future.

I would recommend any tennis fanatic to go see the Championship series. It was awesome seeing my favorite players. The play was great!! Loved the way they were light hearted but seriously stroking the ball, interacting with the ball kids and fans. Would have loved to have a more organized autograph opportunity. The player didn't stick around long to give fans the option. Overall it was a life experience I will never forget.

Great to see tennis in Chicago. It was a relaxed atmosphere and there were some great rallies and shotmaking. All 4 gentlemen added humor. Agassi is quite a showman, and I enjoyed him the most. Thanks to Todd Martin for stepping in for Borg. It's amazing and inspiring how these 4 stay fit and playing at this level. Thanks for bringing this event to Chicago.
