If I was judging...solely on Rodney Atkins performance it would get 5 stars, hands down. He was AMAZING and frankly the main reason I purchased tickets. However, there were other people there and I feel to rate this properly, it should be judged as so. The other singers were...well, mediocre is being polite. If it wasn't for the fact that Rodney Atkins was going to be on stage, I would have left during Randy Houser's performance, It was awful and his attitude seemed rather cocky. I am glad I went because the food was wonderful and Rodney was awesome, but to spend all day in the heat and come out thinking I wasted a wonderful Sunday...really made it a bad experience. Hopefully next year will have better talent for the openers, because I would think twice about going and maybe wait until the headliner was in concert by themselves.

I was expecting a lot more from Randy Houser and Thompson Square, there performance was average at best. However it was the opposite for Rodney Atkins I was not expecting much (especially after the other performances) but Rodney saved the night by rockin the fort

Overall, my family had a great time at Country Fest 2011! The acts were great, there was plenty of room for the over 7,000 attendees and in general things ran smoothly all day long. I do have some suggestions, though. As a mother who took my 11 and 13 year old daughters to this "family friendly" event, it would have been nice to have a section separate from the general population for the kids to view the show. There was a VIP section to the left side of the stage. Could there be some space created where children (and there were a lot of them there) could enjoy the concert without having to be mixed in with those who decided to drink a little too much and get a little to loud and vulgar (plenty of "f" bomb dropping) as well as very animated (had to do a number of arm blocks to keep the inebriated from crushing the kids). Had to leave the hubby and the youngest in the back of the arena for fear she was going to get hurt or squashed. Another suggestion would be to increase the number of trash cans throughout the event. It looked like WWIII in there after the concert due to the mass amount of trash that was on the ground. I don't want to be Debbie Downer because for the most part we had an excellent time. Just some thoughts to ponder.

This my my first Country Fest experience and it was a BLAST! The only thing I reccomend is wear comfortable shoes! We stood for 7 hours straight. I also reccomend not getting there until right before it starts. If you are worried about getting a "good" place to stand if won't be a problem. Everywhere you stand has a good view of the stage. The people there were amazing and everything was reasonably priced. The only thing I didn't like was how long it took in between the bands.

This was my first year at Countryfest and we are already planning on attending next year. It was a blast- The pricing and the atmosphere was incredible! It was very nice that it was still a family friendly event even with the alcoholic beverages. The only thing I would suggest is more trash cans so you don't have trash laying all over. But overall it was awesome! Each artist did an amazing job & Rodney was a real entertainer! Very pleased!

I came in after the show had started (about an hour)... The four bands that I seen was AWESOME!!! Rodney Atkins put on a really good show! I went last year too and LOVED it!!! Will def go next year and I would def tell people to attend in the future!!

All the groups were GREAT!! I've been disappointed in live music before but they all did extremely well and put on awesome performances. Only suggestion I have, PLEASE have this event with more seating! Just too hot & crowded to stand the whole time. Reserved would be even better...I would pay twice the price & judging by this years show....it would definitely be worth it!!
