The Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem Pa. was a fabulous location to host the NBC Night of Boxing. First class accommodations. The event center was set up very well with the sounds systems and the lights. The highlight was the fight itself. Both Tomasz Adamek and Steve Cunningham showed up in tremendous physical condition. The fight was a 12 rounds of excitement. Both fighter fought brilliantly. The fight decision was not delivered very smoothly.

Great fight...would have appreciated less time between preliminaries and main bout but understand it was due to tv schedule. Could have added a few fights as filler

The fight was a very good one, though the final decision was controversial. I don't like to watch boxing matches in event centers because the seating is always below ring level. like to sit in an arena and look from above, down over the ropes. The first was held in a small event center, seating maybe 2000. It was a bit cold and it wasn't really conducive for a first class boxing match. However, the fight was good and the rest of the resort made up for the so-so match site.

For once, the entire boxing card was quality, except for one fight.... main even was fantastic; five rounds with each fighter hitting the canvas.... three heavyweight bouts were main attraction but the three undercards were well-match bouts, too... Anytime you see Tomasz Adamek fight in Newarl, usually it's a show. Usually there is a crowd of 7-8,000 thousand and they are predominately Polish. They sing the Polish songs that are played over the PA and the places is a sea of red. Unfortunately, only a couple of thousand showed up for this fight so the pageanty was not the same. The afternoon start must have hurt ticket sales. But the boxing made up for it.

I think you should of done more promoting of the fights.

When Thomas Adamek fights in Newark, it's always a great show because he is a good, busy fighter and the 8,000 or so red-clad Polish fans bring great energy to the arena. That said, Kevin McBride was unfit for a professional fight and just basically lumbered around the ring chasing Adamek. Adamek hit him with everything but the kitchen sink but couldn't faze the big Irishman. The undercard lacked any sizzle. Most were up-and-coming fighters matched against opponents with little potential to win.
