I had a GREAT TIME...Seats were great and the weather was good for the finals....last year was a LITTLE HOT outside but still had fun....going again next year...

Had a great time, need more four wide racing. It would be nice to have a big screen on the opposite end of the track, its hard to see from the first part of the seating.

My wife and I took our 14 yr. old grandson and one of his friends as a birthday gift. We had a great time! We all enjoyed being able to get close to the drivers and teams. The Z-Max dragway is a 1st class facility. Plenty of bathrooms and concessions. No waiting in line, which in itself is to be praised. Parking was easy, and we really liked the shuttle trams!

I would recommend this event to anyone. My husband and I took our 11 year old son. Our son enjoyed it but did tend to get bored toward the end. As far as us adults just 1 day was not enough. If you are trying to hide things from your children then this is not an event to take them to. We experienced drinking, gambling, and drugs within our sitting area. I just used it as a teaching opportunity for my child. I would say with it being the finals and all; the tickets were a bit pricey for the few hours we were there. Our overall experience was recommending to others.

Burton Smith is a genius; this is the best way to race. You don't have to wait all day to see the finals anymore. The drivers and crews are very friendly. Best racing for your money, NASCAR is not even close! And my grandchildren love it!!!

When viewing the race these were very good seats.Why can't people stay seated.Every time the cars would go down the track some one has to stand making everyone else have to stand.(people)
Like the race but would be better if they were to have 2 wide instead of 4.Just to much going on.

We have been to several NHRA events and this was the most enjoyable one so far. The Z Max Dragstrip complex is definately a state of the art complex. Seeing the cars run 4 wide is something that we will not forget. We will definately come back there, it was well worth the 800 mile drive.

4 wide was outrageous!!! I had never seen the top fuel cars run, and to be able to see that and see 4 of them run at once was amazing! I really hope to get to go back next year!

I love drag racing and I love ZMAX Dragway, but I don't like 4 wide racing. This is not what drag racing is about. Drag racing is between TWO cars. It would be ok just for one exhibition run, not for the whole race or qualifying event. Last year I saw a pole and it was 2 to 1 against 4 wide. I noticed that there were a lot less people there this year then last year, and I don't think the weather had anything to do with it. If this race is going to be 4 wide again next year, I will not attend. I disliked the 4 wide more this year then last year.

We really enjoyed the Nationals Saturday in spite of the weather. The one thing that we did not enjoy was the 4 wide. We realize that it is something that some fans enjoy but for us it was distracting and really walked away feeling like we did not get our money's worth of entertainment. The racing was cut in half by running 4 wide. It is hard for fans to keep up with who is leading and where they finish. Enjoy the racing, just NOT the 4 wide. Many of our seating neighbors viewed the 4 wide as distracting and not worth the money as well. We were impressed with the new "christmas tree" lights that were installed for this event.

I thought it was great! I would like to see a large screen at the starting line,like at the end of the track.Bring back pro stock motorcycle and do away with the super gas cars,boring.

While it's always fun at big pro events like this, to have access to the pits, watching the guys and gals thrash on thier cars between rounds, walking around with a nose full, and a tear in your eye from the nitro tune-up in the pits, I found I was left wanting to see more than four cars race for 3.75 seconds. I actually enjoyed watching the S/E class at one on one a little more than 32,000 horsepower for 1000 feet. It was almost like you can't really see everything as you can when its only two. It all happens so quickly you can't focus on anything. If you watch the front runners then you miss the tire shake, getting out of shape or pedalling through the smoke of the slower car(s)!
