It was so great, we went twice! :) After the 7 pm show finished we immediately went to the box office and bought tickets for the 9:30! I have loved Betty White since forever, but this was WAY better than I could have ever imagined. I will never forget this weekend and am SO happy we bought tickets to the 2nd show because this made my life! THANKS BETTY! :)

I was expecting to laugh, being called a ComedyFest. I thought SOMEONE would do a routine, a sketch, give me something. Instead three women with zero chemistry sat around chit chatting. Oh and at the end they played 2 rounds of charades. What did I just spend $60 on??

Maybe if we hadn't spent three hours with William Shatner a 75 minute show with Betty White wouldn't have seemed so short. It was marvelous, she's marvelous but it simply wasn't enough. Given the time frame they had to work with the interviewers did a great job. Still well worth the money and time.

I did not expect Betty to do a stand-up routine and fully expected her to be seated during the show. However, I did expect a "show" for the $144 ticket (2x = $288). The theatre itself was poor: the doors to the show-room did not open until after 6:35 for the 7 p.m. show and there is not enough lobby space to do that. People were standing on the grand stairway for some time. Then, the show started late - about 7:10 p.m. and ended by 8:15 - a pretty short "evening"! Betty could not see or hear the people asking audience questions - she could barely hear the moderators because of the poor sound. The attempt at a game of password was rediculous, as the "contestants" had to cover their ears not to hear the answer. There should have been video of her TV performances or something to have made this a valid "event".

I am not a hard core Betty White fan but thing she's funny and an American Comedy Icon. For $100 per ticket I got a rather flat at times boring sit down interview set-up with Betty White on stage. It could have been much better if combined with video highlights of her career then comments about the clips after i.e. talking about Mary Tyler Moore etc. I haven't seen the Muffins skit on SNL so missed the inside joke about that skit. Why not play it on the big screen then we all could have seen it. The Password skit at the end was terrible as well as the contestants could hear the password. Again you could have put it on the big screen above the chairs...duh !!! Plus I felt ripped off as it was supposed to be 1 1/2 hours long but it was over in 1 hour. Save your money people...never again

I felt completely ripped off. I had no interest in travelling to Vancouver , paying for meals and accomodation to hear an interview. Betty White is obviously a very funny person but you wouldn't know it from that event.

Betty White is a stand alone. She is legendary. She was what we went to see, and she didn't disappoint.

But, and I mean a huge but, Global TV took over the show -- inviting their colleagues and friends to play games with Betty, guiding the conversation with Betty in a ho-hum way (this woman is funny, people!), and allowing only Global TV winners to ask questions. We all paid to be in those seats. If Global TV was going to turn this into just another social plug they should have given away the seats. When you have someone that iconic on stage, I don't want to spend half of the time listening to Global TV employees.

When I purchased these tickets, the description was that there were two shows. The first was described as an intimate dinner with Betty White where they would reflect upon her career and audience members would have an opportunity to ask questions. Those tickets were $250. The second show was described more as a stand up routine. The tickets for that show were around $100. I bought three to the second show. When I arrived, my party was given color coded wrist bands. Colors were given out according to who arrived first since these were general admission tickets. I was told the seating sections separated by color. I noticed that the people from the dinner were still in the ball room and assumed that they were still concluding the first show.
I soon discovered that people sitting at all the tables were not going anywhere and when my wave of wristbands were allowed to enter I was surprised to find that my seating options were limited to three rows of plastic chairs sitting against the back wall of the ballroom (no wonder they sold out in ten minutes). Despite my party being one of the first to arrive, most of the seats were already taken. There was no regulation of seating and people just sat where they wanted. Not that it mattered much, you couldn't really see anything and needed to watch one of the large screens. The show turned out to be a question answer session with a game show theme. They ended up showing a number of lifetime television videos and the interview questions were pieced together from highlights of previous interviews. At the end, they pretty much exploited a conspicuously ill child, having him present Betty with bouquet of flowers. Betty White is a sweet woman, but this was not what I was expecting.
Overall, I felt good because all of the profits went to charity. I also felt fortunate that I wasn't one of the people that dropped $500 on two tickets. They didn't even see Betty until "our" show started, and for their $250 dinner, they received a hot dog with out a bun. I spoke with several audience members and they had the same impression. Now I know.

Betty White is a wonderful performer, and I was glad a portion of my ticket price benefited Gilda's Club - a wonderful charity. I was disappointed in the marketing and advertising of this event - not Betty White herself. The marketing made it sound like Betty was going to actually perform, when this was not the case. The "interview" was nice, but not what was advertised. In addition $85 was a lot to spend, in regard to seating provided for this price range - we were not able to see her other than via video screen. $85 was a lot to pay to view a "simulcast".

The Laughfest event with Betty White was an engaging, heartwarming autobiographical journey that was humorous as well as thought provoking. The room felt intimate even though it was filled with hundreds of people. The event was extremely well organized. It could not have been better.

The look on my daughter's face when Betty White stepped onto the stage in the simulcast hall made my day! I was so hoping she would grace us with a few "live" moments but when Ms White actually walked out I was caught by surprise. Thank you!

The simulcast was great fun. Nearly as good as being in the room with Betty White and for a fraction of the price. ;)

On top of that, Betty came out to greet us in the Simulcast room before going to the Ballroom for her show!

Her actual show was wonderful, she is so funny and has such great stories to share and is so grateful. Good lessons in enjoying what you have with someone while you have it, she talked about how when she found out she would lose her husband they agreed to not waste a second they had left together.

Expecting a comedy routine, got a talk show. Could have got as much looking her up on Youtube. Dissapointed in the format with which this was presented. Still love Betty White just not the way she was presented at this time.

Who could not love Betty White? She was fantastic! The evening was nice, but for $250 per person, I thought they might serve something more substantial than a "High class HotDog!" Yes- a Hot Dog. It's going to a good cause, but my boyfriend stopped on the way home to get some real dinner.

I went to Betty White Simulcast with two friends and we had a great time. how gracious Betty was to pop over to the Simulcast and say hello - the crowd loved that. We enjoyed her so very much and the seats were great! A wonderful night!

"Better than anyone else I know" what a life and what a great opportunity to be a small part of it. Betty White was great, one of the legends. Food was fabulous, enjoyed going alone and meeting new people, well organized...but the best...Betty White. What an inspiration for this 60 something....woohooo
