From start to finish, it was a fabulous event. I am not sure whether I should call it a play or a concert, because it was both. All of the actors were extremely talented with great voices. Since I did not know anything about Carl Perkins, I cannot compare that actor to the real person, but he had a great voice and could really play the guitar. The actors playing Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis were great and especially the actor playing Elvis looked just like him, moved like him and sang like him. But to me, the one that brought down the house was the actor playing Johnny Cash. When he said "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash," you thought that Johnny had come back from the dead. I do not want to forget the actors playing Sam and Diane because their performances were also outstanding. The audience loved it and clapped and yelled throughout the entire performance. It was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to my friends. In fact, I already have.

Loved the Million Dollar Quartet. All the characters portrayed were done so great! The voices, movements, etc. of the musicians playing the parts were incredible. Gave great insight into that moment in history I didn't know so much about. Being a huge Elvis fan, I was very impressed with his portrayal and part in this memorable night.

Actor who played Jerry Lee Lewis was outstanding. The original drummer from the story was actually introduced in the audience that night.
As for the one female character, she screeched and squeeled and we could have done without her!

The whole show was presented well. The performers were excellent and very entertaining. I learned facts about the various acts and events that were portrayed......enjoyed that aspect as well. The music was great, overalll wonderful experience. Even after the show met several of the young actors outside and they were extremely friendly and accomodating with us , their audience members and new fans! Thanks for a great presentation. Also even the employees at the theatrr were extremely courteous and accomodating. I would definitely recommend for anyone , young or old, to go and enjoy some great old rock and roll singing, dancing and interesting conversation about the same. Well done!

Million Dollar Quartet was by far one of the best shows I've seen in a while. The music, dancing, acting & costumes were all incredible. It was a great experience and I was very satisfied with the overall performance and talent!

Thoroughly enjoyed. Went by too fast. My husband took me because he knew I wanted to see it and at the end he was standing, singing , and clapping along with everyone else. It was better than we expected and have been "singing" its praises.

From the first number to the last, the performers were mesmerizing. Though the make-up played a part in transforming them from actors into the characters they played, it was the uncanny resemblances of their voices to those of the real "quartet" that made you feel like Carl, Johnny, Elvis and Jerry Lee were there in the theater. Their voices, inflections and gestures were spot on. And they and the bassist and drummer were fantastic musicians as well. It was a great show that brought back many memories. I had just turned ten years old when the happenstance get-together commemorated in this show took place in December 1956. At the time, every kid from 9 to 19 knew who Elvis was but Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis were unheard of. Now all four are legends in the music world. I never saw any of the four in person but being at this show was the next best thing. I can't leave out the performances of James Barry and Kelly Lamont; they were great too.

Firtst time to the Mahalia Jackson Theater - New Orleans LA. This event was great, amazed at how much the actors looked and spoke like the original characters. Music was awesome. Sorry is was in town for such a short stint. I would recommend to others.
The last few songs had the whole audience standing up and singing.

The music was great. The actors were outstanding. A real understanding of Sam Phillips and his amazing talent to recognize the need to blend country and blues to create a new sound - rock!
