I really enjoyed the Cleveland Classic. I went to the one last year, and this year's Classic outdid the Classic last year. I took my girlfriend to the event with me, and she enjoyed it too. Both schools did a great job of bringing the HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universites) to Cleveland Browns Stadium. I can't wait 'til next year.

I enjoyed the football game..... HOWEVER I was there for the bands!! Shaw High School was absolutely AWESOME!!! If I do say so myself they out shined the college bands.

This event was beautiful!!! It is always a pleasure to see positive community representation; as well as, an opportunity for those who don't know to realize that historically black colleges are viable, and desirable institutions of learning. Not to be compared to any other institution of learning; but to be fully considered along with any other institution of learning.
I would strongly recommend to any group that has college fairs, and school counselors who work with students to find institutions of higher learning.

High spirited game. The city of Cleveland is not very interesting.

Bands played music in tribute to Whitney Houston. However, this type of music does not go with "Marching Bands". Morehouse Band actually stood still for an entire selection.
Shaw High School Band was good.

I enjoyed the game itself. I just don't understand why it couldn't have been treated like a regular game played at the stadium. Normally, the RTA staff would work the booths outside of the stadium and there were none insight which caused a long wait to get off of the RTA. Inside the stadium, the concession stands only had limited selections. The lines were long and by the time you were up to the front, the items that you wanted to buy weren't even available.

This was a great family event and the half time show was the Best! Shaw High School brought the house down. Morehouse and Winston-Salem's marching bands were great too.

The rain cleared up & the weather was perfect. I was dissappointed with the turnout. It wasn't for lack of advertising. They even had half price tickets on Thursday! We need to make sure ALL of Cleveland's minority youth know that they are EXPECTED to go to college, as well support the 2 teams that played. This was a great opportunity to expose my son to HBCU's.
The only dissappointment was that there really was no Battle of the Bands like there were @ other classics I've attended to allow the kids to "show out"! After all, this was the 1st. We need to represent next year!
