Enjoyed the 2013 Harmony Sweeps this year (as always). Favorites: GQ (great hosts!) and Breath of Soul (audience fav!) -- both are phenominal (love their youth and vitality!) Judges choice (as always) was very predictable, very traditional barber-shoppe a-capella.

Great singing! Supportive audience! The judges need to get a grip and realize that acapella doesn't mean only barbershop. Breath of Soul should have won!

The Harmony Sweepstakes National Finals were absolutely fantastic. The vocal groups from across the nation, placed their best voices before a full auditorium of enthusiastic supporters. I thought the event was really electrifying!

My BF and I really enjoyed the Harmony Sweepstakes. The event was chock-full of genuine talent, which was great. Each group seemed even better than the one before. Truly entertaining. The only thing is, I wish we had known more about the Birchmere - turns out it is dinner theater, so people show up a couple of hours before the show and eat, drink, etcetera while they wait for the entertainment to begin. We ended up ordering a brownie sundae for dessert, and it was delicious. I hope to go back next year - this time for dinner, too!

As always the Mid-Atlantic Harmony Sweeps is an events not to miss. The overall talent is superb; and the producers and the Birchmere family make it a lot of fun. The overall judging was spot-on. Will be interesting to see how GQ handles CA. Go get 'em ladies!

Harmony sweepstakes was a good time the hosts of the show were last years winners and they were awesome. Aside from one group that didn't seem like they should have been there the other competitors were great and the audience got to vote on their favorite group. All around it was a very entertaining show and I would recommend it anyone.

The Mid-Atlantic Harmony Sweepstakes at the Birchmere is a wonderful event. .. I've been going for several years now, and this was one of the strongest fields of competitors I've seen.

Great venue, great food, great music .. . who could ask for anything more?

Favorite moment: A member of West Side 5, did an a capella "Trumpet Solo" that was uncanny. If you weren't looking, you wouldn't have know it wasn't a trumpet. @

We've been attending the Harmony Sweepstakes off and on for 10 years and this was one of the strongest fields. There were 3 groups that all were close enough to win the event. I'm sure that the winners, Da Capo, will make strong showing for the Mid-Atlantic region at the nationals.

Another great competition at the Harmony Sweepstakes! We picked the winners as soon as they opened their mouths. Da Capo, you are amazing! But the placement of other groups was a mystery. Guess the judges heard something different than we did. Great job, Loose Interpretations!
Food was great as always, Birchmere!
Loved the West Side 5 sets. Such vocal flexibility! Totally impressed with the alto and soprano solos!
