Overall the circus was great. We took our kids and a few friends. This was their first circus and they loved it. The only down side was how loud the announcer and music was. People of all ages were constantly covering their ears.

the show was slow. the clowns act needed a bit more creativity. the intermission was too late and not enough time to ride animals. no family in right mind would stay after show to ride animals. glad that money was given back for ride tickets.

We absolutely loved the Circus! It was our twins first circus and we couldn't have asked for better seats or better performers. We especially liked the hometown feel of the entire experience.

Hadn't seen the circus since I was a child and my parents took me. Now I can take my neighbor children, 9 & 12 years old. The children wete spell bound and my wife and I loved it. Will be back next year. By the way, Cincinnati Gardens is so east to get to and get from.

I took my 5 year old grandson Branson and he LOVED it. He had never been to a circus. He loved going down at half time and see the clowns and ride the animals. Thanks a lot.

The circus acts were just ok, with the lady trainer and her dogs, ponies and zebra being the worst (animals didn't follow directions well). The clowns were even boring. The ringmaster was difficult to understand (probably due to sound system) & not very engaging. The best part of the show was the dirt bikes jumping the ramps. They were awesome and single-handedly saved the show! If it wasn't for that act, the other motorcycle acts, and the ability to ride the animals, this circus would have gotten a two star rating.

Overall we and our three year old had a good time and feel it was a decent value for the price. We appreciated the free parking and ease of accessing the venue but the volume of the show was very loud, even for my rock-concert going ears, the arena was filled with exhaust fumes and while the vendors were pushing wares suited to a young child much of the music was heavy metal. Not sure who the target demographic was or why the volume would be so many levels above what was needed to create a festive atmosphere. And btw we couldn't find a drinking fountain anywhere -

Took 4 grand kids ages 7-16. Very good value. We all had a wonderful time. The 3 younger ones rode the elephants. A fun event for all even the old folks.

The circus is great. So much action. It kept two adults and 8 and 5 year old kids very alert with enjoyment and/or anticipation. Lot's going on, but not too much at once. A couple of acts could have been a tad shorter in duration. Clowns were weak. Big advantage over larger circuses, is that seats are so close to the action.

I haven't been to the Shrine circus since I was a kid. Now as a 33 year old with a 7 year old daughter, it was a blast. First off, the mini carnival they had set up in the parking lot had my daughter so excited. The carnival rides were great and the staff was so nice.
When it was almost time for the show we walked in the Gardens and bought a program(which was really cheap, $1) that my daughter used to get all the clowns autographs. We was greeted by staff and escorted to our seats. But before we sat they had pictures with Spongebob, face paint and elephant or camel rides for the kids. Also, there was even more clowns walking around the staging floor for my daughter to interact with and get autographs from.
Then came time for the show and the performance was great. My family had a really memorable day at the Shrine Circus.

My daughter and I normally attend the another Circus when it comes to town but this year decided to attend the Shrine Circus since I have heard how great it is. We both enjoyed it so much better than previous ones we attended. The Shriner's are great with the kids, and it is so kid friendly. We will be attending again.

Animals looked as though they weren't taken care of. It was way to loud (look at the attached picture) and plus my 3 yr old felt it was boring. We left half way through the first part.

Our family had an awesome time. This event was our first time to a circus and we could not have had a better time. The only down fall was the vendors selling constantly in front of us as we were watching the show. We will be attending next year's event.
