WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. WAS HOPING TO SEE MORE OF ROLLER DERBY LIKE WHAT'S ON TV . WOOD TRACK , BANKED TURNS ETC. GOT BORED HALF WAY THRU LADIES DERBY & LEFT EARLY . BEER WAS COLD & SO WAS THE ACTION . DEFINETELY WOULDN'T GO AGAIN . BIG WASTE OF MONEY . SORRY !

Instead of a cyclone, they had tape a track to the floor! A bit ghetto, but other then that the teams were fearless and the crowd loved it!!

My husband and I took our grandson after our daughter told us how much fun it was when they went to roller derby in Atlanta. Although the strategy and point scoring was explained prior to the event it took awhile to figure out how that was actually happening on the floor. The Gold Coast Derby Girls won, more by having a bigger team that outlasted the opponents. I am not sure we will go again.
We sat on the long side in the reserved seats. The view was better than at the ends where there were many rows all on the same level. The reserved seats on the entrance side all have good views although it was harder to see the start since there are officials and people in the center of the track.
I doubt that the derby girls are the premier team in the sport.

Took my grandson to see his first Roller Derby, it was fun and exciting, "Stone" made a point of speaking with my grandson and explaining the rules..She made him aware and comfortable..I am going again and bringing friends..An Old Fan becomming a New Fan again, and I will bring my grandson again..

This was my first time attending the Roller Derby in person and also seeing it since growing up watching it on television as a child. I expected more, but it was entertaining at times. I expected the area in which the skaters used to race around would be like that from the old days, but instead it was a taped off area of the floor that the skaters used to go around and around....My girl enjoyed it alot, and looks forward to going again. Overall it was a nice outing to spend with the family.

The match was fun, although, the GC Derby Grrls were clearly outmatched. I would say the announcing and the constant official timeouts that easily extended the game by a half hour more detracted from the experience and made me less likely to attend another match. The announcers for the men's bout was much better. But the officiating during the women's bout was truly awful. I was stunned.

It took a little while to understand the scoring; but once I did it was actually interesting and I found myself cheering! Definitely worth going to and I will definitely go again. Definitely a fun event!

Was dissappointed in my tickets... last time, super fan tickets got you on stage... this time, we were put in the stands... no notice.. drunk people all over the place ruining it for everyone else. Beer spilled all over. I hope next time is better, because we had a great time at the first derby

The sport was very fun to watch but extremely unprofessional. There were about ten people standing in the middle of the court that were record holders. They were hanging out and very distracting. People kept walking by throughout the entire game trying to sell things.

I like this venue.I cant see a bad seat in the house.I`ve been here before for kick boxing and both times really close to the action.I watched roller derby on tv when I was a kid in Tampa but first time to see it LIVE.Definetly interesting while actions on.Good time for not much money.I`m going for the MMA fights in June

The skaters were fun and looked like they really enjoyed the game. For first time visitors they did a 1 min class on how to score and play the game. Big help! By the end our town team lost but we were true fans.

Great fairly inexpensive activity. We went with a group and had a great time. They take the time to explain the rules and help you become familiar with the sport if you are not so already. Players are friendly and interact with the fans. Beer is cold and inexpensive and parking is reasonable.

This was my first experience in person with roller derby. It's not viscous like I've seen portrayed. Very easy to catch on how the game is played, and you get a pamphlet to help you. Wish I had heard about it earlier in there season. Will definitely catch more next time. And the price is great. Thanks
