Favorite moment: Laura Stevenson and the Cans last song - every one thought it was over when they killed with a reprise. Unbelievable. @

The first few acts were an assault on the senses, but not necessarily in a good way. Their performances seemed more about theatrics than they were about music. However...
Laura Stevenson and the Cans - was incredible. Laura Stevenson and the Cans is the best new live band I have seen in years. The music is emotionally inspired and leaves you wanting more. The band is as tight as a clams ass. Laura (?)'s voice can be both soft and hard but always shakes one down to the bone. The music is always driving but they gave us one or two breaks with a soft segue.
The last band - Screaming Females was very good. Man can that girl play guitar.

I thoroughly enjoyed the performances by all the artists, especially laura and the Cans. The venue was fine, with enough room (upstairs) and good sound system.
