This was an excellent tribute to Amy Winehouse. I truly appreciated the original songs that were sung by Jenifer Kinder. I am a new fan and would see her again. Great concert!

I enjoyed Fourplay and there special guest Lalah Hathway but man they only gave us the absolute least amount of performance they could get anyway with. I really was surprised
They tried to get off the stage that quickly but they did. This in no way put a damper on my Berks Jazz experience, to me it was about Fourplay and how the group presented themselves to their jazz fans at Berks.

Good example of quality Jazz music. Lots to like. I was most impressed by the drums and bass but all the performers were professional and polished

The intimate venue made for a very nice night out.

This was my first Jazz concert and it was amazing. I like to see live bands play music. The talent and chemistry between the musicans makes the show so much better.

Our local newspaper said that Donnie McClurkin was coming to town. And just that morning, I was still able to get the few tickets that were left. Little did I know that the rest of the singers and performers were going to be spectacular. This is the first time I have been blessed to hear Kirk Whalum. What a phenomenal instrumentalist. Where has he been hiding all these years? He has every bit the talent as Kenny G and Dave Koz. Jonathan Butler was amazing as well. What a talented musician, and his music really ministered to me. And then Donnie came out. I love his music, and nothing can compare to hearing that voice live. It filled the whole room. I had a great time with the people in my row, and was very encouraged. I left the place feeling much less of a burden, and the night was just such a blessing.

My wife and I , thought the opening selection by Kirk Whalum and the Choir set the mood for the whole evening. Each performer brought the aud. to even greater spiritual highs and just the overall great people of Reading (Berks County Jazz/ Volunteers and Staff) made the evening and "Unforgetable Events", THANK U ALLL!!!!

This event was a wonderful experience. The artists celebrated each others gifts and interacted as a finely tuned machine. The gospel ensemble added flair to the already spectacular performances and testimonies of the artists. I am looking forward to next year's Gospel according to Jazz extravaganza!

This was one of the best, most exciting, performances I have ever witnessed in recent years. Brian certainly gave his audience all they had ever hoped for and more. He is a consummate performer of our time. He couldn't have worked harder for his audience.
I purchased his latest CD and can't stop listening to it to and from my drive to work.

This was less a concert and much more a gathering of the Saints. When Kirk Whalum came out along and soloed on the flute, "My Hope is Built" and "Just a Closer Walk with Thee, I could have listened to him alone all night. But when the band joined it was on! The addition of each guest took me higher and higher. Jonathan Butler made all of us fall in love with Jesus all over again and Donnie McClurkin made "Total Praise" the anthem of the night. I'm so glad that I was part of this experience.
