Liz Callaway was terrific, both in her singing and general stage presence. Unfortunately, the Chorus did not match her. Songs were poorly arranged, monotone with a lack of hamonies and dynamics. Songs were too often poorly sung, entrances were not crisp, cut offs at ends of phrases and the ends of pieces were not together. Lyrics were sometimes unintelligible. Especially musically disappointing were the Hodie, Gloria and the Hallelujah Chorus. The signing of Silent Night was heartfelt, although the unfamiliar musical arrangement not to my taste. Other choralography of hand motions was well done and pleased the audience, and the carol singalong fun. Ms Callaway led the Chorus in a rousing finale of Joy to the World.
