I'm not sure whether it was the deafening speakers that were turned up well beyond 11 or if it was the crazy amount of distortion, but not only was every loose screw in the building buzzing, but I couldn't make out any of the voices of the band.

It's pretty unfortunate because I really like Buke and Gase and I don't think anything had to do with how they were playing - it was just the worst sound quality I've ever heard at a concert. We moved to the back to be a little further away, which helped a little, but not much. I can handle a lot of noise, but not if it's all fuzz, so we left early.

The opening band made me cringe. If you've seen the move "untitled" this is exactly like the band from it.

Buke and Gase were incredible and their energy filled the space however both openers were terrible and played incredibly long sets.

Always cool to see a Buke n Gass show. Theyre 1 of a kind duo that sounds like full sized 5 piece band. I'm definitely going to their next NYC show.

Sheesh....talk about creativity. I still cant believe how loud this band plays with only two people. Im sure they will blow up anytime now because of their unique sound and custom built instruments. Watch out 4 Buke and Gass....seriously!
