Mahler was superb. Nothing like dark,gloomy German music on Halloween! And Latin, cannot forget that- Carmina was wonderous.

This was an amazing performance of Orff's classic Carmina! The energy and vitality of
both the orchestra and the choirs under the masterful conducting of Dr. Bloch was an
unforgettable experience. The soloists were wonderful. As good a performance of this masterpiece as I have heard. ISU Symphony is a fine student group and handled the challenges extremely well. Kudos to all!
