I would recommend the Kinsey Sicks to a friend, but not to my parents. These are amazingly talented drag queen acappella singers. They sing about sex. They sing about marriage equality. They sing about life, reality and the wonderful lgbtq spectrum. They sing... amazingly. The jokes are funny, the puns are terrible (and therefore funny), I laughed so hard my face hurt by the end. There were funny spoofs of older songs (Sisters, Goin' to the Chapel, etc) and there were original numbers that were funny. There was audience participation. The encore was extremely touching. You can tell these guys do this because they love it.
It's not for everyone! I was amazed how many people walked out at the second number, a hilarious spoof of I Will Follow Him (how did they pay $40 AND NOT know what they were getting into?) The name of these guys is the Kinsey Sicks; they're a little sick. They're over-the-top. But if you have an open mind and are willing to laugh and be made maybe a little uncomfortable about everything, including sex, they're for you.
