Thompson Square was amazing! Such an enthusiastic concert! It was great to see them, their songs are songs for real people, real couples. Can't wait to see them again! Bought their record and can't wait for the new release!

This was a good show by Thompson Square, but the crowd took FOREVER to warm up to them. Eventually,they responded to the music. I would give the band an "8" and the crowd about a "3".

This is a talented duo who do not need to blast people with the sound way too high. I realize there are people who like their music loud, but when it gets so loud that the lyrics get lost in the noise, that defeats the purpose of going to a concert. I put in earplugs and that made it better.

We went to see Thompson Square expecting a great night of Country music. What we walked away with was the impression that Thompson Square were really frustrated Rockers who turned to Country because they could not make it in the rock world. They seem to have the impression that louder means better. This may be the reason for the fact that the venue was only about 33% full, and several people walked out during the show. That being said, I do understand that they are not yet a true headlining act, and had to fill in quite a bit of time with music they would not be playing as an opening act, but really, Joan Jett at a country show. That's a bit much, even for me, who used to like rock music.

Thompson Square was truly a fantastic show. They were full of energy and had lots of interaction with the audience. They were very entertaining.

It was a great concert. They are a very talented couple with amazing song writing and singing. The concert had great lights and sound. I loved the background videos and how they supported our troops and especially their strong support for the children in need of clothes, food , etc. The only bad thing about the concert was that it was on a Sunday night, most of us have to get up early and go to work, but it was well wort it.

I thought the show was very poor!! I set in Section D on the inside aisle looking right at the stage. I could not watch the show for all the flashing lights, especially the yellow ones. I had to watch the monitor to see anything. The show was way too loud could not understand the words, the best part of the show was Shawna’s acoustical song, very good!! I could not understand most of Keifer’s, and then to end the night on a sour note the signature song was a mixture of noise, lights, and letting the audience sing. The little girl was ok and a tribute, But it would have been much nicer to have that song done as an acoustical performance. I don’t believe I will be attending any more shows at Mountain Grand if this is the way they are going to be presented. I did enjoy Mel Tillis, A very nice show that was easy to listen to and understand

Both Shawna and Kiefer are very talented
professionals. They have incredible energy and a good band backing them up. They also showed a lot of versatility in their program. The only negative for me was the sound system. It was so loud that it seemed to distort their voices at times.

We enjoyed the show although we were close to the front where my ears still hurt 2 days later. Sound man needs to pay attention to the size of the venue. There were times that their voices were overwhelmed by the instruments too. Believe me, I'm an old rocker turned country and didn't think I'd ever say this. I even had Iron Butterfly in a bar I worked at that was quieter than this show! If anyone knows who they are, you would know how loud this was.

However the tickets stated the show started at 6pm and Thompson Square didn't take the stage til 11pm. Very frustrating for us we rushed there on our 3 hour drive to sit and wait 5 hours!!!!
