This was a very good event. Too bad more folks did not come out. Here is how I would break it down:
Parking 5 Stars
Venue - 5 Stars
Food and Beverage prices - 1 Star - too expensive!
Number of Matches - 5 Stars (10 fights!)
Match-making - 3 Stars
10 Count tribute to Emanuel Steward - 5 Stars - really first class
The announcer - five stars
The judging - 5 stars
Ticket Prices - 2 stars - too expensive
Parking 5 Stars
Venue - 5 Stars
Food and Beverage prices - 1 Star - too expensive!
Number of Matches - 5 Stars (10 fights!)
Match-making - 3 Stars

I think this was a great effort for pro boxing in the DMV area! It came up short in some of the matches.
I would recommend that folks buy the cheap seats and move up between the fights.
They should let like a 1000 students in for free to get the place rocking and get exposure to those not exposed to pro boxing.

Except for one fight, the matches were good to amazing. Definitely entertaining and the facilities were great. Look forward to the next fight.

Great hard fights, best of local boxing you can get around the country. Jimmy is a class act and a championship calibur fighter. Would reccomend anyone go to it atleast once and you'll be hooked!!

Having seen some more exciting fights at the Patriot Center in the past, this event had too many boring bouts on the undercard making it too long and too flat. And the main event was more of the same. While I'm a supporter of local boxing and have been to all the Patriot Center fights for the last 5 years, unless there are some rethinking and restructuring, this is the last one I'll be attending.
