Favorite moment: HOLY GRAIL & singer from cauldron jumped on stage for backing vocals on fight to kill. @
Setlist: Immortal man, My last attack, Call of Valhalla, Crisis in Utopia, Hallow ground, Chasing the wind, Fight to kill @
Opening act(s): Cauldron, power theory, some other band @
The 1st 2 bands were unremarkable. Cauldron was pretty good. From Canada. They have a classic metal sound. 1 song had a riff very similar to "bang your head" by quiet riot. I liked this band better live than on CD. HOLY GRAIL WAS AWESOME! they tore it up. The troc is a small venue so you are up close & personal with the band. The vocals were reminiscent of early Judas priest. The guitar work of Eli Santana was superb. I haven't experienced shredding like that since the last time I saw megadeath. The singer James belted out vocals. Best show I've seen in years! Bottom line: go see this pair together & you will not be disappointed.
