Normally I prefer hard rock. Alison has a fantastic vocal range and a strong projection. The live performance was an improvement on her already amazing studio tracks. Her informal, elegence is a great match for the Fitzgerald theater which is at once contemporary and timeless. Well worth the two hour drive from La Crosse.

An excellent show, from beginning to end... no flat spots at all! The band is great, especially the lead guitarist/co-song writer, but Alison steals the show with an incredible range of styles, octaves, and song moods. First I was thinking she sounds like Bonnie Raidt, then it was the legendary Janice, later Etta.... eventually, it came to me.... she sounds like Alison! Newly added (rented, she said) backups of two female vocalists, and two guys on the brass broadened the sophistication of her gifted song writing. In the end, though, the best offering of the evening in my opinion, was her solo on the piano... this girl has soul miles deep.

This woman has an amazing voice, and makes a personal connection with the audience. Her band is excellent and really gel. Definitely get to know this rising star!

Outstanding talent. Arguably even better live than her CDs. Great stage presence. She clearly has a gift for music and performing.
