Easily the BEST show I've ever been to. The Foreign Exchange know how to entertain and make you feel good the entire time. I've been to many shows, both good and bad, but this one did everything right. Phonte is a natural entertainer, and never let the crowd feel bored, tired, or ready to leave. The band and singers were fantastic, and came back for a crazy encore. Played both new and old stuff, everyone left more than pleased. I'm definitely going to the next Foreign Exchange show.

Foreign Exchange exceeded my already high expectations, giving us all not only a show, but left us with a feeling that I won't soon forget. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!!

Check the title...it wasn't a concert, it wasn't a show; it was an Experience! I can't remember the last time I was so excited to see an artist that I genuinely like, live, but I got so much more than I expected! I was thoroughly entertained, and am still flying high from the experience. Each song now has new meaning, and I'm just really glad I got to be there. It was phenomenal, and I have a newfound love & respect for a group that I was already in love with.
Can't wait until The Foreign Exchange comes back to NYC or anywhere close by :)

The vocals were off on the first song, but they fixed the levels by the end of the song, and it was perfect from then on out. Flawless band, flawless singers.

if you like phonte as an emcee, this show is NOT for you. i can't explain how disappointing this show was. every part: the music, the backup singers, and phonte's pathetic attempt at soul/r&b... it was frustrating. phonte is literally one of THE BEST emcees out there these days... someone needs to tell him to stick to that. quit trying to double-dip!!!

Extremely good concert loved that they didnt fill half the night with acts nobody cared about and we got out at a good time too the music was great, Phonte, Sy Smith, Jeanne Jolly all knocked it out the park, drummer was sick, Nicolay of course did his thing and Zo killed it on the keys. All in all one of the best concerts Ive been to cant wait till Nic comes in January

The concert was ABSOLUTELY fantastic!!! The band was impeccable and the artists kept you enterained from start to finish! I have seen them in concert 3X and I guarantee you, each show is different and the artists sound even better than the album. This group is underrated! If you're a neo-soul lover and have never heard of them...you're totally MISSING OUT!!!

Doors opened around 7:45... the opening DJ rocked the house with an eclectic mix of R&B, HipHop and Neo-Soul... The Foreign Exchange graced the stage around 8:30. Their performance was OUTSTANDING!!! Phonte let everybody know upfront that he was battling sickness (104 degree fever) and was under the influence of some strong pharmaceuticals ;0) ... but he so satisfied!!! Would have never known!!! Love thier music, lyrics and beats!!! There's nothing like a live performance - and they did not dissapoint!!!

Amazing, Stupendous, Unique, Talented, Superlative People! Did that give any idea of the show? The anticipation and wait had me excited and by the time they appeared on stage I was ready to receive the good music they were sure to bring. Instead they delivered an awesome experience that I had wished I purchased a video camera so I could show my friends and family what I could not fully decribe with my mouth. Phonte reminds me of the talented artists of the seventies, bringing the realness of his lyrics but gracing us with his rap. The lyrical genius had us captivated and his repoire with the audience is so personable! Nicholay not only played the keyboards, but also played an electric guitar. The singers were outstanding and there was one that sang like Minnie Ripperton! I traveled from Raleigh, NC to see them and every moment was worth the trip.

I've seen great shows in my time, but this was truly a party. Talented musicians and a lead vocalist who truly want you to be entertained. That want you to laugh, think, dance, and sing along. If not for the fact I flew 1000 miles to see it, I'd feel like I stole from them by only paying 30 bucks. This is what every group should strive for. If they are within 200 miles, go see them!!!!!

Took a little long for them to get started but The Foreign Exchange was WELL worth the wait!! The venue was small but perfect for the crowd! I had a great view from the balcony. The performance and encore were AMAZING, they OWNED "Daykeeper!" In addition to playing classic cuts from Connected and Leave it all Behind, Phonte kept us entertained with his renditions and jokes, haha! The show was great & I cant wait for them to come back to Bmore!
OBTW, Zo! is absolutely GORGEOUS in person!

This was my first time seeing the band and definitely wont be my last! The only thing I wouldve changed was getting to the venue earlier to find parking (parking was crucial!). but it was definitely worth the money and more!!! +FE, Keep doing your thang!
