The ability of Joe Matheson to portray the life and times of
Hank Williams, and to relate his tragic life story,
was incredible. From the very start of the presentation,
to the concluding songs, Joe's voice was powerful and
compelling. He had the audience with him throughout
the presentation, bringing them through every emotion
from hilarious laughter to solemn reflection. The show
was well executed, and the five members of the
band did an excellent job in backing up Joe, and becoming
Hank's "Drifting Cowboy Band".
